Thank you, @QueenB, for your quick reply. On average, I assist two newbies daily. Fortunately, there are more newbies than players leaving the game, which is encouraging. I will try to remember the names of those I supported over the past few days. Once again, thank you for your response.
@QueenB You said up to 200 dollars a month so will the bars be different amounts for different people? How would you determine who get what amount. Plus you said start engaging the newbie basically I can say HI I would consider that engaging the newbie. The wording of your post kinda confused me somewhat. Thanks
@QueenB Those of us who regularly welcome the newbies into the Candy Crush Saga forum all do so because we care about these players and want to help them. Few newbies come to this community without a complaint, sadly, and therefore it is rarely possible to help them in a sweet and jolly way. Players posting in the Candy Crush discussions and support forums are often really angry and upset and come to us as a last resort before quitting the game. When answering them I find it difficult and often inappropriate to welcome them to the community with sweet conversation or an invite to join the other community forums. Most players come to this forum because they just want their game to function properly and to get the fun back into playing the game.
I have myself answered many newbies in the past week, and hopefully I have helped them, and I intend to continue to do so. I did today receive two separate "thank you" replies from newbies, which is always heart warming, and this is all the reward I would ever want, so I won't be posting any details here to claim the gold bar reward offered, thank you. However I found being reported here for "breaking the House Rules" and for harassment really quite upsetting and hurtful and I'm not sure if I did anything wrong or not? Please could that be clarified? I can not always stay sweet and positive in light of all the flaws in the game but try to always be constructive in all of my replies. I do not condone bad language or bullying of any kind. However, sadly when "sharing my wisdom", I can not in all circumstances "create positive vibes". Given all the flaws of the game that would be dishonest.
@QueenB If we are to help the newbies it would be a great help to have a go to button. If we are high level players we would sometimes need to go back and play the level that the person is having an issue with. So if someone is on level 3000 and ask a question at least we could go back and replay without scrolling down thousands of levels. Just a thought.
First, let me state that I will not be competing for the gold bars since there are so many Community members that are far more qualified to help newbies than me. That said, I am curious about what is considered helping. Is it the first person to respond? This is not always the same person who is most helpful. Can more than one person get credit for helping and if the person that helps is not the first to respond, will the person that actually helps get the credit?
Those are good points @Peaches12. But you are wrong about you not being able to help others. Each of us has talents and abilities. I'm not much help to others when it comes to tech issues. But I help in other ways. And if I don't know the answer, I can always point a newbie in the direction of some one who can help.
