when I finish a game the screen goes dim and does not continue to next screen. I have to go out of the game and come back in again to continue playing

I have done this on my phone and iPad and it’s still doing it
it’s just doing it on my ipad now
i have 2 ipads and an iphone and it does it on all three devices
