Hi everyone,
On the day on the first Final Knockout I got a pop-up on my account saying that I have been kicked out of All Stars.
I have reached out to support, but all they said is that my account broke the rules. I re-read the rules a few times and cannot find the reason.
I have asked support multiple times to provide me with the reason and haven’t heard back - just got an email saying to rate my support experience.
I put money and time into it hoping I would make it to the final, so this is really disappointing.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Hello @MzSita That is unheard of in my long experience of reading posts here in the community!
It would be very interesting to hear more details about this. I was wondering if and how King were eliminating cheaters this year. Of course real cheaters would not post here to complain about it, and we have not heard from any other player unfairly kicked out of the tournament.
Please could you post some more details. If you didn't take a screenshot of that pop-up, can you remember in more detail what it said or what words it used?
I am sorry this happened to you, it must have been very disappointing. It may have saved you some money though, since the road to California for all players still left in the competition is still long and the next two rounds will be much harder to win than anything we have had yet. I am afraid that you won't get anywhere with player support on this. King obviously have some automated system in place to eliminate suspected cheaters and I can't imagine they have staff able to investigate individual cases. It's all done by an AI I suspect.
The pop-up said something along the lines of ‘We have detected that the activity on your account goes against the rules and regulations of All Stars. You have been removed from the competition. Click here for help.’
I submitted the form through the link in the pop-up and then I didn’t get an answer right away, so I followed up by responding to the email that you receive automatically when you submit those forms.
Support said they cannot find my original request. And so it started, it took about 4 tries to get an answer.
I received this as an answer:
so I asked for more clarification because I went and read the rules a few times to ensure I didn’t break any without knowing.
It took 2 follow-ups and I got this answer:
So it seems they are refusing to disclose whatever I did wrong.
I’m tired of it, after so much back and forth and I guess @christinewupp is right, I would probably end up spending a lot more money.
However, still disappointed since I have no idea what went wrong, so I am weary of participating seriously in the future.
I don’t recall the leaderboards. However, I did notice something strange. In the 2nd knockouts, I was at about 220 000 stars and I kept playing and moving quickly through the pop-ups at the end of each level.
I did maybe 2 or 3 episode races back to back and saw my score go over 800 000 stars. Not sure if that’s possible or that was a glitch. I kept thinking it’s weird, but trusted their count.
