Thanks a lot for sharing that! Well, well, so they really do have an AI to try to eliminate cheaters! It's just a shame it seems to have gone so badly wrong…. But who would be be surprised about that? The game has been nothing but glitches and connection errors for the past few months. You couldn't possibly expect King to run All Stars in a functional manner, surely? And why would they bother? So long as enough players are persuaded to part with their hard earned cash, and King make a handsome profit, why bother making sure the systems function correctly? You surely can't sue them for negligence? I doubt it.
By my maths playing 2 or 3 episodes would give you about 180,000 purple max with the 30x multiplier? I mean, 4000 per level is a good amount, most levels will only give you between 2000 and 3000. So 180,000 per three episodes would be a best case scenario really. So yes, @MzSita I must agree that something strange was going on in your game and that probably also then got spotted by the automated systems and kicked you out of the event. That must be so annoying. Hard luck!
The only thing I can think of that would have skyrocketed it is that on a few levels I was really stubborn and didn’t want to pay gold to add extra moves. I wanted to try to pass them within the number of moves they give you. Since I had infinite lives, I kept accumulating bonus moves at the end until I had reached 210 or something like that. Then I finally paid the 10 Gold because it was like impossible even with boosters and I was getting annoyed. So I got 200 extra moves but really didn’t need them.
I’m not sure if they count the candies that get crushed in that automatic crushing that happens when you won a level but still got moves left. But I thought the boost of points of points might be due to that.
I wish I had taken a screenshot of the pop-up. If I remember correctly, it said something along the lines of “We detected that the activity on your account is against All Stars regulations. You have been removed from the competition. For help, click here (link).” It’s not word per word, but it was something along those lines.
What’s odd is that I submitted the request to appeal the decision through the link in the pop-up, yet it took Support almost 4 tries to find my original ticket (which they didn’t find) so I had to re-explain the whole situation a few times.
At first I got an email with help tips on what to do if the All Stars disappeared, which was not my situation since I was forcibly removed. Then I got this answer (see photo).
I mean, I don’t know what I am missing here. I don’t know what they see on the back end, but I wonder if it’s possible to be sabotaged at this point.
I have a hard time believing people would put effort into hacking/sabotaging accounts that have done well in the qualifying rounds and knockout rounds though.
I’m just hoping someone can shed some light.
Hello @MzSita have you considered replying and saying that you don't need them to review the case any further you just need to know which of the rules they think you broke. Also you should point out that as someone that has paid money to get as far as you did it is only right that they give you a full explanation of their decision.
I would raise an official complaint and quote the loss of money you used to play the game. I'd also throw some GDPR rules at them 'subject access request' and also the 'right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing' that is if they have used AI to arrive at this decision. they should also outline in full what rule you have broken.
That said if you don't live within the EU I'm not sure if the GDPR rules apply. Worth a try
