Somewhere in the Terms and Conditions it states that King may delete any account that has not been active for over six months. So I won't bother deleting my surplus accounts and just assume King will stick to their word and make me an honest person again by automatically deleting any account I have not logged into after six months. Problem solved.

I do have a question @QueenB:

So say someone decides to go down the road and get a account reset, but they may or may not have "a few" other accounts they used for testing, old attempts, or just mucking about on, do they:

Contact King to delete all the accounts @ X host email?
Just get the one reset?

"Exploitation of game mechanics", hmm. That's an interesting one. I wonder what that actually means or includes. On the other hand, one game on two devices can certainly be used to exploit the game mechanics as well, and yet that is allowed. Well it is what it is. At least I've had an official answer of sorts now, thank you.

I do really enjoy playing Candy Crush and enjoy all three of my accounts. I have one that is at level 15,861 and which is my original account I play on my iPhone. I also have an account at level 6891, which is fun to play and is on my iPad and I recently opened a new account on an old iPad where I am just past level 1000. All of these play differently but are enjoyable in different ways. They all three use different email accounts on different devices. I cannot understand why the mere action of having three separate accounts would make me a cheater or why this would be against the Terms and Conditions? Could you possibly find out from King what exactly the "one account per platform" rule actually means and why this rule exists? If I were to choose between my three games, which one should I choose?

I love this thread @christinewupp My game reset was purely a decision that I did not hesitate to do when it was suggest to me. I do not have a new account I'm still using the same email login also linked to King Community. I was at level 15468 and I was getting no where, my frustration with this game was preventing me from enjoying the game. I have tried other games but I kept coming back to Candy Crush. Since my game reset I am currently playing at level 500. I won Candy Royale yesterday for the first time ever and I am doing much better with the weekly race. I got to keep my Gold Bars with the manual reset but my booster collect is starting to build again because I don't need them as much at my current level but at level 15468 I never had enough. The Episode Race does not seem to work with the reset and King Customer Care is looking into that for me. So far me I am very happy with my decision and because evey level at 15000 was difficult it just seems easier now to plan my moves because my frustration is just not there anymore I'm back to enjoying Candy Crush🙂

Greetings @Pyrolight! I don't disagree with your view of the world, I just play for fun and sort of sense my way around the game. I really am not trying to test out playability. Looks like we perhaps check out different things and in different ways. Candy Crush Saga is really the only computer type game that I have ever played so I would not know what is common for games. Nice to see you join in here @Scooterpie . I have thought about your suggestion of just starting a new game without creating an account and I've done that a few times myself. The benefit of doing this is that you can then decide to log into your original account at a later time and take all the boosters you earned or bought with the gold you earned with you. That is why I'm still going at level 15,000+. Strangely, this strategy would seem like it should be classed as cheating, but doesn't seem to be against any of the terms and conditions? Could we have found a way to enjoy the game and keep playing for free that is actually allowed by King?

Starting a new game, without doing the dance with King, would require one. The other is basically inactive but it is technically multiple accounts. This is very common for games.
Say you are playing 1-500 to compare features across devices and even on the same device. It is much easier to make a new account than bother scrolling back.
Depending on device a new player gets a default setup. This was normal on windows. Also you would lose any progress if you did not want to bang out 500 levels or so in a row and keep using it to check here and there.
Going back does have one issue, you do not get streak and other effects. It is fine if you want to look at one board but not as good if you want to really test out playability.
Near the end of the game and want to go from the start but play differently while not losing that game and you don't have multiple devices.
Minor and likely fixed, but on the windows version your account would bleed over into any non account games. It actually could break the low levels. It was a "hoot".

It is exceptionally common to have a main account and an alt account for games. One is for playing seriously on, one if for mucking around.

Finally, disagreeing with my view of the world… you must work for King!!! :P

Multiple users connected to the same router doesn't mean they are the same person. Your whole family members could have just one account each. So, IP address cannot prove that you have multiple accounts.

If all your family members/friends login using one particular account （same location or otherwise） and play at the same time, that may be breaking the rule of "share your King Account or login information with anyone".

I just have never understood really why to have more than one account? Everything I wish to try does not need this. You can go back and play old levels and see what has changed. You can play as a new player and just not make an account and check out the game for comparison. As far as time changing, this is bad. I use 3 computers, computers like to update. A lot of things update. What do you think all the time changing does? What does this do to your syncing between your devices?

Think of the TOS as a catchall. They are covering everything possible regardless if it makes sense in the context of normal play. It just allows them to deal with situations of exploits where the wording for an exploit might not catch a very similar one that don't quite meet the traditional level of hacking and such.

Basically make almost everything against the rules to cover your butt but don't enforce it unless it is needed.
