Ah well yet another feature from King that requires the completion of new levels just to take part. Why King? Why?

That's a good question @Queen373. As far as I know (I don't have the feature) people that help friends don't seem to be able to receive help themselves which doesn't seem fair at all.
then how do the other players on my level request for help to pass their difficult levels , I have at least 6 players a day requesting and I have helped pass the levels they are stuck too
I am afraid King want you and other players to make purchases to get help, so there is no way for us as players to get help from friends in this game. The only thing we can ask for is extra lives from our friends.
that’s so unfair that the person receiving help gets rewarded and not the player giving help. Infact tell me how do I get help on hard levels and get rewarded too.

Regarding any announcement about the feature, I have not seen it in the community, only some friends talking about it
I had it a while ago, then it disappeared and I didn't see it in my game either
Yesterday it came back again and I got help from two friends and I was happy it's normal again
When it disappeared, I thought it was like an experimental feature, but two days ago it returned again. I am notified in the friends list that there are requests for help. As for me, I enter the friends list and find requests for help.
I hope it will be announced officially

There have been a lot of questions about this latest test feature in the past few days. I don't have it at the moment myself, but to anyone who is confused by how it works:
You don't help a friend actually pass their level. You play their level so that they will get some boosters as a gift, which I think will show up on their starting boards next time they play and may help them pass the level on their next attempt.
I don't think there is any way a player can request to be helped themselves. King decide which players on our friends list we can help. There is no reward for the helping player.
I have not yet seen any official thread or announcement of this feature at all. Have any of you still got it or seen an official thread or post from a moderator or QueenB about the Help a Friend feature @Carol-38 @T0rr1e @cookiemae @Amoonmoon? I don't have the feature any more myself.
I found this feature in my game a few weeks ago and we discussed it in this community but the CM lumped the thread together with the "friends challenge" unfortunately. So firstly: Here is our original conversation and screenshots, from page 2 onwards in this thread:
Hi @christinewupp I couldn't find a separate thread for Help a Friend so posting this here. Do you remember approx 8 months ago in the Need a Friend thread we both had a young lady who suddenly disappeared. We thought we had frightened her off. Well I'm pleased to say I got her back again about 9 days ago and guess what, I got my first Help a Friend today and it was for her. Yes I did it, ran out of moves but got 3 adverts to watch giving me 3 extra moves and a UFO. The UFO completed it so hopefully she will get whatever is meant to be received to help her.
Hello @Queen373 that isn't how the Help a Friend feature works. When you complete a level for a friend it is your friend that receives the boosters and not you. The person that helps a friend doesn't receive anything for helping.
To receive 200 gold bars for helping new members you have to post a list of people you have have helped in the Discussion linked below.
I have helped many friends on the game today and passed their level they were stuck, yet I have not received the boosters promised?!

@QueenB I'm not sure what has happened to this thread, but I think mistakenly two threads have been put together here?. We had one thread of the "Help a friend" event and a different thread about the "Friends Challenge" , but these are two completely different, unrelated events and now all those posts are jumbled together under the header "Friends Challenge"! Could the header "Help a friend" be reinstated, because I'm sure that is what this thread used to be called. It's quite a different matter if I help or challenge a friend!
@cookiemae I haven't seen Help a friend in my game for a few days now. I quite liked it, so I'm glad you still have it in your game at all.
What's kinda Weird is I have helped Bob on the same level over 5 times. I wonder is he actually getting the boosters. He's the only one that I have the option to help. I guess he cannot get off that level. I have a rather large friends list but his name is the only one that show up as needed help. Lol he's here again.
I haven't had this feature yet and I'm not sure what I would do if I did get it. So instead of King taking notice of feedback re levels now being boring and impossible, they pass the problem on to others to help. Before we had all these levels full of blockers, many were still difficult and needed us to study the board and work out what needed to be done, to pass. Eventually we passed and the sense of achievement was worth it. But as I said it's now being passed on to others to help, but there's no real strategy, just boosters and gold bars for extra moves. So again is it King taking control, deciding without the players say so, whose game we can play. I'm sure nobody will get me to play a level for, but if you do please don't. It's my game and I wouldn't be happy if someone else played it.
Why don't King just take notice of constant feedback, not just on levels but on everything we keep leaving comments on, like the Chocolate Box, scroll down feature, side games requiring new levels etc. etc.
Yesterday, I was able to help someone by passing their level. Today, instead of taking me to their level when I offer to help, it takes me back to mine and I am out of lives. So, if it won't take me to their level, it seems it isn't working properly.
Exactly what happened, I do not know yet. I have not received any request to help any friend
It seems that you, my friends, are wonderful, skillful, and reliable, so the king no longer sends for your help 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

At least or they should improve the boosters

Thank you @christinewupp I did not receive the goodies from your help which is a shame especially since you used up some of your boosters. This Help option that King has started seems to have a few bugs in it though, as @Amoonmoon mentioned you press the help button next to your friend's name and then it disappears, or it takes you to an entirely different level than the one you should be going too. Also, it would be so good with this feature is if friends helped a friend pass a level instead of sending freckles and striped candies, they should actually pass the person stuck, especially since the friends are using boosters thinking the person will pass on from that level, but like me they stay stuck until King sends a lucky board. Anyway, thank you so much for your help. 🙂
