Most of the time when playing, I do not receive events until I have used my lives. The daily gift machine does not appear most days, and when it does, I have lost upgrades for not playing it. Frequently, lives that I have received from friends disappear. Suggestions for friends are generally people who do not send lives and people who haven't played in months. It has become frustrating to try to play Candy Crush with all the issues.

Welcome to the community @viki9854. That is a lot of issues you have there. It sounds like a connection issue to me, which has been reported over in the Support forum by a lot of other players. I cannot personally help with this, but for any of the moderators or others to help we would need to know which platform you are playing on. I never have any of those issues, but I play on iPhone with a King account email login. With facebook on the other hand there have been a lot of problems.

I am sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing in your game! Some of the issues can be resolved with few work-arounds!(1) Daily Treat Machine not appearing β> You are not alone in this glitch! Many of us have experienced it one day or the other! I see this glitch every now and then, even yesterday!! But, I found a work-around and it works perfectly!
Every day, when you open the game, first open your Events folder and check which events you have. If you see either the Red curtain or just the booster wheel, come back to the game map and replay an (easy) old level and win it. Now, come back to the map screen and open the Events folder. All or most of the events will appear along with Daily Treat Machine.
** Rarely, the Treat Machine does not appear! Then, please repeat the steps and it will work.
You might have to follow these steps everyday! But, I would prefer that rather than missing the booster from the Treat Machine.
Once you start doing this, there is no more "losing the streak" and missing the treat either ππ

(2) Lives received from disappearing β> This is a recurring complaint from the players that use the Browser version on a Computer! I need to with our Community In-charge about this.I am sorry to ask you this! But, is your computer a latest one? Do you have the option to upgrade it to Windows 10/11? Then, that would be a best option to get rid of certain glitches - especially, with the Lives!!
(3) Suggestions for friends are inactive people β> Since you are logged into the game through Facebook, there are great chances to have more friends!
(a) If you search on Facebook, there are so many "Candy Crush Saga" groups! Join some of those groups and send friend requests. You will find only active players there! So, you can help each other!
(Please feel free to send me a friend request on Facebook. It is the same name as you see here. But, let me know with which name I will be receiving request from. I don't like to accept everybody's request as there are Spammers everywhere)!
(b) Another way to make friends is to "send a link" and ask other players to accept your request. Please check β> HEREποΈ (click on the Green letters) for full information;
c) You checked the Suggestions for the friends! But, did you try looking for friends through the "Player Cards" you see in the game map. That is another good option as the Player Card tells you if they are active or not!!
