It always surprises me when I read from players this high up in the game that they suddenly hit a wall of impossible levels. Other players hit a similar wall in the 15,000+ range, I hit it in the 14,000+ range about a year ago. Did you have some gold bars saved up from earlier on, which is now spent or did the levels suddenly get hard for you?
I am starting to wonder if King run different test groups with regards to how "easy" or "hard" their game is and that they moved you from the easy to the hard test group. I know of some players who manage to pass the new levels coming out every week with a small handful of boosters while others experience a complete block just like you do. Even though the levels look exactly the same for all of us at any given time, I don't think we all play the same game. Each player gets a "bespoke" experience, and I think King very subtly manipulate us in order to make us spend money on the game. We are supposed to believe it's one specific level that is holding us up and if we can only get past that one the game will become easier again, but watch out for the psychological tricks being played and don't spend any money. By the way I noticed you mentioned losing the episode race to players with money to spend in another post. You know those other players aren't real ? You need to pass the entire episode in one session or at least within 24 hours to win the top prize, it is a timed event and the other players are recordings from months ago, who probably had much easier boards.

On the subject of Episode Races, why is it I can’t seem to get an answer on my question? My recap is copied below. Any light you can shed is appreciated.
“I don’t even know why I bother, guess I’m a sucker for punishment. Customer support is a JOKE. I emailed a complaint re no Episode Race, meaning I cannot replenish gold bars that are necessary to beat impossible levels. Get an auto generated message asking me to repeat my story. So I do that. No further response. Then I get an email asking me for feedback on how they handled my complaint. So I reply telling them I got NO help. No further response.
So I think support is one big joke and Candy Crush is just laughing at our frustration. Btw, this is not the first time I tried getting help. I thought, maybe things changed. But no.”
Hello @maggie_c Did you see the thread below? A lot of players right at the top of the game including myself have a problem of the episode race not showing up for us. However, at your level this does not happen as often. How long is it since your race disappeared? Are both your game and device on the lated update? I think that the missing episode race is something even Player Support don't understand how to fix, so that is probably the reason they are not being very helpful. I fear that even King don't know!

Why didn’t Candy Crush support say something briefly like that in response to my query? It’s so frustrating to be given the runaround but it’s clear they don’t have real humans working on customer support.
And yes, at this point in my game, my devices are up-to-date, etc etc. The episode race has been MIA for a while. Usually I finish all my levels and have to wait for new ones to come out every Wed.
I guess I have to wait for the race to be fixed.
