@dviane The short answer is no one actually knows the limit. Months ago, I would've said the limit was exactly 1,000 based on manual counting. But eventually I realized the Friends list rotates out players. Inactive players become hidden from view, but then suddenly reappear in the list when they resume playing.

As well, I believe I encountered the same message as you (see my post here: 👫 Introducing the New “Friends” Tab in Candy Crush Saga! - Page 3 — King Community. scroll a bit to see mine). But while I was unable to add that specific friend on Win app, I added them without issue on mobile. To confirm, no, I didn't have to delete anyone to make room. The message simply didn't appear in the mobile version of the game.

So I think the "limit" is yet another inconsistency of the game.

does anyone actually know the amount of friends I could have with this new system? All of a sudden, it’s not letting me add new friends, because the system says that I reached my limit. I deleted   friends, and I still can’t add this new friend. Please help!
