I prefer the classic matching style 🍬 I’m not a fan of this new feature.

This new fish booster is utterly, utterly hopeless.

Combining with other boosters? They'll swim up to the most benign spot on the board and detonate their single wrap or stripe harmlessly.

Last move on the board? Again, off they go to somewhere harmless.

It's yet another King fudge. They interfere with a perfectly good game to mess up the balance and annoy people.

FFS play test these things before you release them rather than getting us to do your bug hunting!

It’s rubbish, we now only get one fish instead of 3.

Love it 💙 The Jelly Fish make levels more fun and exciting!

For a long time, I have been wondering how this is the first game in the Candy Crush series, and yet the fish mechanics are present in all the other games except this one?!!!

So I find this change makes a lot of sense and I love having the fish here

Hi @boommie , it´s useless asking for a good feature is back. Once the developers decide to change it we are doomed. See what happened with the Amazing Troll. 😪 On the other hand let´s recognize they have created a fabulous game played all over the would. And that´s a huge achievement. Pity it´s too hard for lack of effective boosters or more oppotunities to win gold.

Not sure yet 😶 I need to play more before I decide.

I think someone mentioned this already - are they using this new fish as an excuse to reduce the number of moves on certain levels? Do they think the new fish make them easier to pass?

I’ve noticed fewer moves on a few hard levels. Level 9190 now has 20 moves; up until recently it seems it had 26 moves.
This is not improving my opinion of the new fish.

With the arrival of the Jelly Fish the extra life “fished” together with two boosters is gone. A new liabilty. Is it me or anybody else?

I don't like how you only get one fish instead of three when you match/release a fish. Also I've noticed when you have one jelly square left in a level and release a fish it just goes wherever it wants instead of hitting a jelly square. Before it would automatically go to that remaining jelly square left.

The new fish is almost useless . It is weak ,it only hits one target, if it does that. Most of the time it hits something that’s not a target. Totally useless and frustrating. Why was this change made? Most certainly not to help us. Please bring the old fish back.

Is that on the last turn or say if you have multiple turns left? There are some oddities with how the fish are behaving and some people are seeing different results than others. Trying to compile what people are seeing and the details.

    A few things so far

    1. Fish can act stupid on the last turn
    2. Fish will not target toffee
    3. Fish can ignore the last jelly (yours)
    4. Fish just do not target requirements nor blockers (two or so have mentioned this)

To the first part, I think it is actually making a "smart" move that is setting up the next move for you but, without going into details about the algorithm, it is nearly impossible to tell what that move should be.

If you use a UFO on the last turn it will do that a lot of the time too. This is something King changed with UFOs about 5 or so months ago and is a very nasty update. Fish/UFO will hit the last target(s) less and less depending on the difficulty level of the board. Also if you get a hard board (tell you you passed a hard level) it is about a 0% chance a UFO/Fish will take out the last target(s) on the last turn.

Yes and no. King messed with the levels last year around this time as well, it was everything under 3000 I think. In the end they sorted it out but there were a few really idiotic changes, and some this time as well that all but broke levels. Others they replaced mechanics to make them sane.

Unrelated actually. People started losing that feature 2 weeks ago. King changes stuff without notice, ie they break it, remove it, update it (which removes it for awhile), it is a bit of a mystery.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
