Hey everyone! I have an idea that I think would be a fun addition. a Competitive Ranking Mode where players can compete against each other, earn ranking points, and climb up a leaderboard each season.
Here’s how it could work:
Players would go head-to-head in best-of-three matches. Each round, both players play the same level with the same goals in real-time matches, so it’s fair for everyone. Whoever gets the higher score in a round wins that round. The first to win two rounds wins the match.
To keep things balanced, there would be 5 placement matches at the start of every season. These matches determine the player’s initial rank based on their performance. After placement, players are matched with opponents of similar rank.
When you win a match, you earn ranking points. If you lose, you lose some points too. The number of points gained or lost would depend not only on the match result but also on performance factors like how many rounds were won and how close the scores were. This system ensures that even close matches are meaningful, and players are rewarded for strong performances, even in defeat.
The Ranking Mode would run in seasons, lasting maybe two weeks or a month. There would be a global leaderboard where you can see how you’re doing compared to other players. At the end of the season, there’d be rewards based on your final rank.
Overall, this would add a fun, competitive challenge for players who want a bit more than just casual play. Plus, it could bring more community interaction with friendly competition.
What do you all think?
