Get rid of Timed Sugar Drops/Boosters

The studio appears to doing some testing with timed boosters. First a large group of people lost the ability to get regular boosters from collecting sugar drops and got timed boosters instead. Now it appears that some people are getting timed boosters for the daily calendar and some said they even get some with the daily spin. This poll is specifically aimed at voting to get rid of the timed sugar drops so the game studio can clearly see the votes and opinions of the players.

FYI - the other poll "Keep Sugar Drops" - was created when the game studio took away entirely the ability to collect sugar drops and get boosters from a group of people (who now can collect sugar drops again but in some cases they are now timed).

Please vote and comment and let your opinion be heard.

Please get rid of the timed sugar drops. Been playing CC since it started on fb but seriously thinking of stopping now, the timed boosters are useless!

606 doesn’t give me the bot anymore...what more can they take away at this point and just give you impossible levels to make you purchase boosters....I have sunk my last dime into this game!

It’s not much of a consolation but scrolling down to 606 to refill your bot is possible again.

I totally agree. I hate the timed booster so much that thinking of stop playing. Also stinks that can only built a bot if win new levels. Why change anything. Was great the way used to be.

Like many other players I have been playing for years ....
I am so disappointed that the sugar drops have changed to timed boosters ! - Of course this is an effort to make people to pay for boosters (and I must admit that I do very occasionally although I try not to too often and prefer to earn them) and that is ofcourse what this is really about.
I really do think this is a fundamental change to the game....
Part of what makes an addiction is the element of “reward” - taking this away is a mistake!
I may be rethinking my addiction after all these years and taking it elsewhere ...
what a huge disappointment !!

I think I have just played my last game. Am on level 4981 and it is impossible without masses of boosters. Just wasted my last hand to switch something to be able to do a colourbomb and stripe combo and guess what I randomly got ALL resultant stripes going the wrong way. That is it for me. Max of one lollipop on a whole round of sugar drop and never a hand or gold bar. It is now just a waste of time. If Candy Crush change back then I may replay but at the moment just log in for the daily wheel and out.

Not able to win lollipop and hand switch now, esp hand switch, what's the point keeping them. Used to get them after collecting the sugar drops but with timed ones it's out of question now .

I'm with all the others here. As someone who has finished all levels and used to play everyday to collect boosters, now I just come in for daily spin and the daily boosters.
How would your advertisers feel about the people who used to play everyday be reduced to 1 minute doing a spin and leaving

Well, perhaps I'm wrong. Perhaps that's not what King think their intention is. Perhaps they think this makes the game more exciting. To be stuck and unable to move forward doesn't make it exciting for me at all, but I'm probably the exception. Probably it is thrilling for the other millions of players, so King will certainly not miss one less "addict" (maybe I'm the only one).

Monica - I could not have stated my feelings better myself. I should be playing with my fabric or sewing on my quilts that I will be teaching in the fall anyway. So thank you King for freeing up my time for other hobbies and interests. I prefer to spend my money on fabric and not for gold bars.

I am a five year player at level 4425 as of yesterday. Summertime is the time I have usually up on Candy Crush levels, since it is too hot in the Sonoran Desert to do much outdoors.

Ok, I think I voted. But just in case, definitely bring back the original sugar drops. The timed ones totally change the game for me, and most likely will cause me to quit.

I agree with everything MonicaBrasil wrote in her comment. King has achieved its goal of upsetting many of the top players who loyally collected boosters twice a day. I hope they are feeling pretty guilty

Bring Back Sugar Drops
Collecting Sugar Drops has been an integral part of the game and a much loved feature where players had the opportunity to collect them and earn free rewards every day. It now appears the studio plans to take it away. Please vote here if you want the studio to bring back this ability.
