Get rid of Timed Sugar Drops/Boosters

The studio appears to doing some testing with timed boosters. First a large group of people lost the ability to get regular boosters from collecting sugar drops and got timed boosters instead. Now it appears that some people are getting timed boosters for the daily calendar and some said they even get some with the daily spin. This poll is specifically aimed at voting to get rid of the timed sugar drops so the game studio can clearly see the votes and opinions of the players.

FYI - the other poll "Keep Sugar Drops" - was created when the game studio took away entirely the ability to collect sugar drops and get boosters from a group of people (who now can collect sugar drops again but in some cases they are now timed).

Please vote and comment and let your opinion be heard.

The 15 minute timed boosters are useless if you've been awarded the boosters on your last life and have to wait 20 minutes before you can play again. Also, there is no reason to play if you are waiting on new levels. At least before, you had a reason to play on Saturday-Tuesday: to restock boosters with the color drops while you were waiting for the new levels on Wednesday. Now there is no point in playing old levels that you have completed while waiting for new levels. I guess I should thank you for helping to wean me off candy crush slowly. Two days per week of candy crush per week will help me cure my addiction.

I agree to eliminate the timed boosters, or at least allow players to choose when to use them.
Most of the time, I play in between doing other things and can’t keep playing just because I get a 15 minute booster, so it’s a total waste.
The other issue I have is that I get boosters that do not apply to the levels I am playing. Today I got a 15 minute check booster- only had time to play one level and I couldn’t use the booster.
I’m not one to go back to collect boosters via sugar drops, but if I earn a booster while playing, I’d like the opportunity to actually use it.

This CC game is becoming absolutely ridiculous!!. Timed boosters!!!...after 48 hours you are suppose to have a chance for a Free spin but when you go to spin it says PLAY for 7 gold bars. Impossible to get gold bars with the new sugar drop machine the developers have decided to try!!! And now when I do win "THE DYNAMIC DUO" and get awarded a1 hour timed booster it doesn't show up in my game!!!!! SO FRUSTRATING!!!

Wow! A UFO timed booster??? I have not seen that yet, that would be helpful.

As for not having to claim immediately...maybe that is a change, I found in the past if I don't claim within a certain amount of time (I haven't timed it exactly, but it's around 1 minute), then the game automatically goes back to the main board and I don't get the prize.

You do not need to claim the timed boosters immediately. Just go do something else for a couple of hours while you build up lives. Then go back to the game and use them. I agree, in most case they are worthless, but the UFO Timed Booster did help me on a couple of levels in the low 211* series of the game. But I also want it to go back to the way it was so I can build up my booster inventory for when I really need to use them.

I also say eliminate the timed boosters and go back to the untimed boosters and gold bars. I cannot accumulate gold bars anymore now that they have timed boosters when you accumulate sugar drops. It also seems that when I get the timed booster it’s free not for 15 min and I can use it if I have no more lives or I’m on a level that doesn’t use that booster. So it seems most of the time they are worthless. The time has run out for you to use it. Not always, but for the majority of the time.

I guess the vote is by comment. Please eliminate the timed boosters, they are useless. Go back to accruing boosters.

Exactly! I was going to play after several wins using the Buildabot boosters. Mine is gone too; taking with it my boosters that I won!!! What’s going on with King???? The programmers need to make this epic fail right!!! Get rid of timed boosters when you come back from vacation next month and fix the glitches!

It ridiculous. And this buildabot here one moment, then gone, then back again on an ongoing basis? No need for that. I had buildabot, put the game down to get another coffee, came back and it's gone again.

That just reeks of ineptitude.

Just so you know, if you use the link provided by Scooterpie above to play the game at King.com that website creates a whole slew of Temp Files on your computer. This is something King should fix ... And I also agree: A lot of people will give up this game or like me, just keep trying and trying until a level is done. I will not PAY TO BUY BOOSTERS

Bring Back Sugar Drops
Collecting Sugar Drops has been an integral part of the game and a much loved feature where players had the opportunity to collect them and earn free rewards every day. It now appears the studio plans to take it away. Please vote here if you want the studio to bring back this ability.
