No longer able to exit an unstarted board without losing lives - Information and feedback

Dear community,

I'd like to share with you some information in regards to a god old known issue of the game:

as you may be aware, when we access a level, we don't use any move and we exit the level without playing it, we don't lose any life.

This behaviour was not intended since the very beginning and very soon, this issue is going to be fixed.

That means that, once it's fixed, if we access a level to check it out, we don't do anything and we decide to exit the level to go back to the map, we will be losing a life.

If you read through the thread the game CM has commented. Nobody higher than that will as the CMs are the spokespeople for King. Despite players thoughts, this thread isn't being ignored and feedback is being passed on.

I tried to continue playing, hoping they will fix it one day, but nothing happends.
From now on .. I will stop playing - currently in level 6035- until this problem fixed.
Its not about being difficult its more about not being fun no more.

How long has it been since the powers that be "fixed" this? I've forgotten and I am still on the same level I was on when this "fix" started. If you are on vacation then someone must be monitoring the board for comments so you have to know that people are just a tad bit miffed with your "fix". Was this done to encourage the players to purchase items from the store? Pay to have our banks emptied? Not going to happen with me. I will do one of two things in the next two weeks. Either continue playing and stay stuck on the same level (2327) forever or just quit playing the game all together.

Maybe a certain bird will resolve this Board Reset Problem and luckily overturn the decision. I am not giving up yet. I am still trying. I want to see this resolved one way or the other.

We’ve all recognized that the ‘fix’ is only a benefit for the company as it makes it more challenging for the players (and I assume the company wanted to entice more players to spend money).

I’ve also been playing since the games inception and have never spent a penny but am at the top of the game (for my platform) each week. Depending on the week, it now might take more time but I typically can get through all new levels within hours of their release.

Its interesting that this community board exists for everyone to vent without a single person from the company acknowledging or responding.

At the end of the day, it’s just a game... play if you want or don’t....end of story!

I had 58 Gold Bars that I accumulated from playing levels and for winning a challenge last Monday. They are all gone in a few minutes just like that. I used them up in 2 Levels that are ridiculously hard.

I wonder if king is keeping track of how many boosters are being used compared to before the “fix”. I bet it is lower. Also how many games are exited and not finished. I bet it is higher. I’m not going to use boosters when they are placed in unusable spots and I can’t reset. I’m also not going to play out futile games or use boosters on them.

If it is not Timed, you can bank it. However, if it is Timed, it will only stay in your Backpack of Sweet Supplies at the amount of time given.

One more thing, we don't have any control on Timed Boosters when we get them. If we get Color Bombs and Striped and Wrapped Candy Combinations, oftentimes they get automatically used in the Pre-Play Page. The Swedish Fish and the Coconut Wheels don't. The Coconut Wheels oftentimes get Timed-Out in the Backpack of Sweet Supplies which is awful.

All I know is that I have gotten timed boosters, closed the app on my iPad, reopened it later (maybe 3-4 hrs) and they are right there waiting for me to begin. As long as I don’t close the app in the background, I’m good.

Last night my husband pointed out a TV commercial for Candy Crush. A cartoon woman was swinging a lolihammer. Candy Crush is spending money on commercials to get new players, but has put in a change that is losing them playing customers. How ironic! And very sad.

Hey... I don't even HAVE a piggy bank soooo... There are so many differences between my Mom's games and mine, her two devices are different, and she really gets the short end cuz I at least have Booster Bot or Tiffi's holiday boosters. On the other hand, Mom has ad videos and I haven't had them since an update in Nov. That's what brought me to this forum to begin with.
It isn't fair, especially when players are in contests with other players and they have zero chance of winning if they are hobbled by the random insanely frustrating updates being pushed to random players on a weekly basis. You never know what the game will look like on any given day.
King thinks that's a good thing, I do NOT.

This game makes me crazy!!!! How many versions of the game are out there? My piggy bank is sitting full on 30 and I have never had 60. I logged on and took 5 minutes to lose my five lives. Is it so hard to put out a game where everyone has the potential to buy or not buy the same number of gold bars. We should also have the right to start the game with a board we like. OH I forgot they have focus group to to test different versions of game. Evidently I don't belong to any group but left to find an even playing field on my own. I haven't purchased anything since King put in his Fix and it hasn't made that much difference to how I play the game it just takes me a lot longer to pass a level and lose my lives very quickly.

Yah, I rarely get to use the timed boosters cuz they aren't a choice for the level I'll on I'm on even though EVERY booster COULD be able to be chosen on each level. The dumbest part is that they reward you then take the reward from you immediately after. We should be able to play any booster on any level and start the timer when we are ready to play

Was hoping for some “Christmas Cheer” news, but nope. King has still not removed the ridiculous “fix” for board re-sets. Since the “fix”, not a single board for me has had any boosters positioned where they were any use. The delightful 15 minute boosters were a waste. I used numerous lives and boosters, usually to lose the game needing only one more move. Sorry King, not buying the “ Fix” story and not playing the game as often as I used to.

Got Booster Wheel Jackpot, But It Didn't Include the 15min UFO
I got the booster wheel spin jackpot today, and it looks like it's supposed to include everything that shows on the wheel. However, there was no 15 min unlimited UFO blaster (it showed it in the graphic showing you won the jackpot, but it was not in my boosters). Is this a known issue or just a one off glitch?
