I am sorry to hear that your Gold Bars are missing from your game!
I saw this in my Candy Soda game few months ago! Not sure why this happens, BUT it was a simple glitch in my game and it could be the same for you too!!
Try this and let me know:: Log out of the game ---> Close the App ---> Disconnect from the internet ---> Restart your device after shutting it down for few minutes ---> Reconnect to WiFi ---> Log back into the game and check if your Gold Bars are back.
Sometimes, you might have to do this for couple of times! Please check it out and let me know how it goes!

I did all that but Nothing happened Other than I lost the messages in my mailbox but I found you again with my email. It's very annoying to have saved those gold bars for several years and to have them just disappear. I try very hard to pass levels without using helps.
I have tried to explain the problem to customer service but I cannot get a message to send from that page.
Anyway thank you for trying to help.
