Why?? For money.
I will never ever pay for a booster or anything in a game. So at the moment i still have an eye here to see if anything will change. But if it doesnt change again and doeant get reversed; i am not gonna pay.
So sorry for your loss..
I would love my build a bot back! They take the features away and give nothing back! I have no new features. Why change a game so many people love. Just give us back the build a bot and sugar drops andlet us decide if we want new features!
I feel your pain Dew. I teach youth offenders and spent the last four years caring for my father who had Alzheimer's. He is gone now and this game served as a quick healthy escape for me. Not anymore.

I've been staying as the caregiver of my daddy at the hospital for months as he's been suffering from larynx cancer and dementia.. 😔
All I've been doing to relax and keep myself awake was playing Candy Crush..
Unfortunately he's gone and I kept playing it to distress myself not to cry in front of my mom and make her sadder for the loss of her beloved 53 years long hubby..😔🙏
Now the game is apparently no longer a source of joy for me.. 🙄
I emailed them last week when this happened for the first time with the build a bot..also the same day they simultaneously "chose me at random" to no longer have a sugar trail..i have beaten all of the levels and instead of being rewarded with being able to make sure I have enough boosters for the next week's levels I'm being punished for not spending money. I'm so angry and the new "exciting changes" to the game suck and cause me stress when this used to be my escape from serious trauma. I think it's time to find a non King made game to play. 😡
I am not so hopeful that they will reverse..
@isaiah41vrs10 I am at 6500, waiting for the new levels to be released. All the levels now are ridiculously hard and can't be won without boosters. It's getting really tough and frustrating. I'm thinking of quitting if they don't revers the bot for old levels

Just wait til you get to the high 4000s, it's 1 or 2 levels per week.
It won't be possible to build up booster bot at all because the higher levels all take several attempts to clear so the chance of booster bot being full must be zero now.
This is ridiculous ! I am at the end of 3000s and of course without boosters i couldnt pass even 1 level in the last 24 hrs. I am stuck! Is this relaxing??? I dont think so! If they havent given the booster available for previous levels at the beginning, i would know it was a waste of time and pick an other game. So annoying!
Is there a way to undo this update without needing to start the game from level one? In the 3000's, but without booster bot, it's too frustrating and I'm not willing to empty the bank on this game. If there is no way to undo this update.......gonna have to say good-bye to the game.

I play to relax and distress. I want it to go back the way it was. Bring back the build a bot on previous levels. I will play another game for now.
it is so boring this way. i cannot enjoy it like this, so looks like i will stop playing too. why would i play if it stresses me while it was supposed to help relax?..

The studio appears to doing some testing with timed boosters. First a large group of people lost the ability to get regular boosters from collecting sugar drops and got timed boosters instead. Now it appears that some people are getting timed boosters for the daily calendar and some said they even get some with the daily…
Collecting Sugar Drops has been an integral part of the game and a much loved feature where players had the opportunity to collect them and earn free rewards every day. It now appears the studio plans to take it away. Please vote here if you want the studio to bring back this ability.

Many Candy Crush Saga players would like to see more opportunities to win the UFO and Party boosters. How about adding them to the Daily Treat Calendar?
