Update: there is a tiny Back button on the top right of the app screen. When I clicked this, returned to the initial screen and then clicked Play, the map screen loaded normally. I've tried this a few times, and it fixes the greyed-out problem every time.
I reported this through the support button on settings, and got a boilerplate reply explaining how to send and receive lives - nothing new, except for this: "Additionally, it's important to note that you can only receive one life per friend in your game during each session to prevent excessive requests." What? I send (and…
It's a very widespread problem. I receive the odd request for a life, but I'm not getting any in spite of having a group of friends who always swapped lives daily. It's highly unlikely that they all stopped sending lives at the same time.
You know, King, this isn't the money-spinner you think it is. People aren't going to buy lives - they're now not able to play difficult levels to the point where they can buy 50 extra turns, so they just play less.
Same - grey inbox and no new lives, although I know they're being sent. The only thing that's getting through is the odd request for a life. What's going on?
Exactly the same for me - I'm part of a regular group of people who exchange lives, and usually I have far more than the 20 I'm allowed to use. I've now run out of the backlog, and there are no new lives. I'm sending as usual, but I don't know if they're getting through.
