Same for me.
I'm currently at level 2894, but when I start the app it always "focus" on level 2862 somehow.
I tried to solve this issue with the instructions from the first post, but my avatar isn't there. Went back to level 2600 but no avatar. Tried log off/in again and reinstalled the app. Didn't work. The only thing that changes is, that my special candies are now missing.
So unfortunately, instead of solving one issue, I now got two of them.
A screenshot wouldn't be helpful I guess, but is there any chance to send you a screen recording?

I'm curious about the disappearing avatar issue, maybe that's the key to this mystery. Can you screen shot that?
In order to send us a recording, you have 2 options: you can upload the video on youtube and send me the link in a private message, or you can contact Player Support, send them the video, and then give me the reference number so they can show me the video.
@sazha , the same goes for you. It's very important you give me as much information as you can so we can figure out what happened.
