Hi @mphilipps
First you have to know your operating system. If you don't know, you can do the ff:
1.) Click Start, then Settings, System, About
2.) Under Device specifications, System type, your operating system is written (64-bit or 32-bit)
Then go to Microsoft Learn,#3 on my list. There under Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2022 under Architecture, if your operating system is 64-bit, click the link under X64 if it's 32-bit, click the link under X86.
I think ARM64 is for Mobile Device.
Just follow the download instruction after that.
I hope this help. 🙂

Just want to say that I am not good at all with technical stuff on a computer. So will there be a fix so that my game will load before having to do a workaround? I miss my game so. It won't load. Just see a flash or sometimes a small black screen that disappears after a few seconds. I know I reported before. Sorry

Hi @tileigh80
We were told that the Studio is investigating this matter. If you can wait, wait for the fix they're working on. If not, you can try and follow the direction I provided here:
I can help you walk through it if you want. It's fairly simple even if you have not done it before. Just follow the direction step by step. But if you're not comfortable doing it then it's best to wait.

Hello @tileigh80
If the computer or any device isn't up to date, the game app functionality is likely to be affected in some way.
In this specific case, without the Visual C++ Redistributables update, Windows computer is not able to launch and run Soda app.
In this forum we have these steps listed here to show how to update this component.
If you need further help, I'm afraid you'd need to reach out to Support for Windows computers so they can look into your device directly.

I got relocated here as my CCSoda was not working on new PC. I have the latest C++ but Candy Crush Soda is still not working on PC. I have a feeling it is because of Windows 11, but it is strange how my other Candy Crush apps work. I guess I will have to use my tablet to play Soda now until there is a fix.
