I'm trying to log in and I'm getting a screen asking for my date of birth, but when I answer the question the "continue" button is greyed out. How can I get past this & play the game?
I agree.... have been playing the game for ages , this is the first day I've seen this screen and I can't get past it either, the continue button stays grayed out and won't respond to clicking
Sorry Yosca, but that doesn't happen - I've filled in my date of birth using the prompts, but the "Continue" button is still greyed out and won't let me continue to the game. I've been playing the game for a long time & never had this box come up before

I have seen this too and if you fill it in as prompted you should be able to continue with your game, by tapping “continue”

Yeah since 2015 I’m playing Soda and this suddenly popped up. The game can of course change so maybe the Studio wants to retrieve data this way. 🤷 You could try to do some troubleshooting to see if that helps to continue: log out of the game via your profile - clear the cache (super important!) - power off your device for at least 1 minute - restart your device - check for game and device updates- log back into the game. Also make sure you have at least 2GB free memory storage to run the game smoothly.
Looks like the problem's now been resolved - I've just been able to click on "Continue" and get into the game

About 2 months ago, I registered with King, and the only thing it asked me to enter was my username, my password (with its confirmation) and my email.
What you just mentioned I think I've seen it somewhere a long time ago.
It was with social networks, but I don't think it gave problems with personal data because they solved it
Had the same thing for a couple of days, still can't continue & access my game

I just wanted to inform you that I'm going to pass this along to the Community Manger so she can consult with the Game Studio. Can you tell me if you play the game via Facebook or a King account?
You really would think that whoever thought up this verification would have tested it first - or is that too much to ask?! Absolutely appalling that so many of us can't use Candy Crush. I suppose the only upside is that King will be losing money because of this! For goodness sake - SORT IT!
bit of light on the horizon... I kept trying to lget in to the game and all of a sudden the 'continue' button wasn't greyed out and it let me in! I didn't do anything differently just persevered and hey ho here we go.!!

I have some info, and hope this can help. Some mention they didn’t use the arrows to fill in the d.o.b. and used numbers and the “continue” button turned green. Some pressed on the return after putting in d.o.b. and “continue” button turned green.
Please try to do this workaround:
Make sure the game is open and connected to your Facebook or King account on the device you play on and where the issue happens.
-Open the game on another newer device with Android 5 or higher or an iOS 10 or later version. Alternatively log in to your account on King.com on a computer and open the game there.
-After you've logged in and are able to open the game and play a level on the other newer device or on King.com, please restart the app on the device where the game gets stuck on.
-The game should now work and let you play from the main menu on all devices.

Thank you ... this works! Just keep putting any old dates in 'til the Continue button turns green (took me 3 tries), then input your actual DOB. What a palava and how ridiculous!
I can eventually get to press the 'continue' button after entering my DOB but then I get a pop-up that says Oops something went wrong. Try again later.' I've lost count of the times I've tried again!

Can you try that? That should work.
Done that. Problem is after pressing green button I get pop-up saying 'Oops, something went wrong. Try again later.'.
