Temporary issue with receiving lives from team members
Hi everyone!
Currently, we're having a temporary issue where players are unable to receive lives from their team members in Candy Crush Soda Saga. When you try to receive a life from a team member you may get an error saying no network connection. The issue is present across all devices.
We're really sorry for the inconvenience and are working on a fix for this issue. I'll let you know once it is being rolled out and the issue is fixed!
Update 23 of May 2022:
This issue is fixed in the new update being released later today. If you still have the issue, please update your game and check if it is fixed. Please let us know if it still is not working for you and we'll help!

Let's understand what's going on in your game 🙂
Please try these standard troubleshooting steps and we'll move on from there
- check for Soda and device updates
- check that your device has at least 2 GB of free storage
- provided you have a King account to save your progress try to log out- close game - clear cache* - restart device - open game - log in and pass any level to make sure you reconnected to the server
- you might need to repeat the steps above 3-4 times
*depending on the type of the device you can clear cookies/cache of your device or cache of Soda app directly (Android). More info here. Be careful not to click "clear data" which deletes your boosters

As for the problem with friends' lives, I'd like to know more about it, so I can report this to community manager. Do you see any connection error in you game profile settings, by chance?
- which device do you play on? (make and model)
- do you play on Soda app installed on your device? or on Facebook website on your computer?
- does your device have at least 2 GB of free memory storage
- what is the latest Soda app version installed on your device?
- what is the user ID associated to your gaming account? To find this number on Soda app, please read here

I am sorry to hear you had a problem with receiving lives from your team members. You can try these steps below 👇 and hopefully you won’t have this experience again.
You can try this: provided you saved your progress with a King account, log out of the game - clear the cache -> not data that will delete your boosters - power off your device for at least 1 minute - restart your device - check for game and device updates- log back into the game. Also make sure you have at least 2GB free memory storage to run the game smoothly and try to connect to a WiFi connection instead of using cellular data.
In case you have the same issue again after troubleshooting please let me know, so we can report it!
