While I wasn't given the info on the exact standards that needed to be met for the chat, when the studio says "accessibility", this refers less about when accessing a feature and more to the ability for players with different sets of abilities being able to play it. For example, for those with less abled vision, one may use screen readers for things like the chat, which to my understanding wasn't working properly.
For the events listed, these ones are separate from this type of change, and from the studio's perspective it's about balancing the events with how players progress in the game. I understand thought that it can feel limiting when the studio balances this to be more strict for some.
Without trying to lessen the importance of the feedback, I think it's also worth to think about the features that have been added last year, like the tap to use special candies, the super color bomb. While some things get changed, some also get added. But in any case, thank you for sharing your thoughts here with us, it helps the studio understand how players feel about the game.

As you can see, there's still work to be done to improve the game, and having players to report things like these to us in finding things that have been missed.

I have expressed my views and feelings about the removal of the chat feature that the STUDIO deemed necessary, I have lost contact with my game friends from many countries,and now feel isolated, I being of the older generation who enjoy the game and had the ability to chat to the friends I made inside the game feel there is no need to continue playing, cannot see the point playing solo.
l will continue for a short time to see if the STUDIO has a change of heart,in the meantime I will play my other games as well at least I will have someone to chat to

I completely agree with this sentiment since I can no longer keep up with my group because chat was taken away. There is a group of six that I’ve been playing with for over a year and I only have an email address for one of them. How are we supposed to connect with our teams if we can’t even share ways to communicate outside the game because of this HUGE change??

I have contacted my team members and we agreed to move to another game. While they may opt to continue playing here, I don’t need a game to force restrictions on me As an avid player of this game for years, with the same team for years, I’m out. The deletion of the chat function changed the entire makeup of the game. Absolute nonsense!

I wish I would have known this so that I'd stop checking why the chat in my game has been grayed out. Please tag the community members who play this game so that we are aware of why it's not working. I've been going in to my game every day to play it but also to see if the chat glitch was fixed. Please, make sure that all announcements like this are tagged to all players. Thank you!

I am glad that many players are expressing their frustration here as many cannot,a lot will not know what is going on with the chat function, I take my hat off to those who are abandoning the game, it's bad enough high powers to be tell you what you can do or not do,but when you are in a game and play and communicate with friends made throughout the world I find it hard to believe that we are now solo,this is not a good move,lots of players want to keep their friendship inside the game,not outside, reconsider putting this function back I don't don think it interferes with any part of the game, I think it is a ploy cooked up to stop team play, you will kill this game by your bad decision ideas

That's very possible! Maybe there were trolls joining the teams and causing problem in some teams.
