Strange artifact covering game during cake baking
Sometimes, after releasing teammates in cake baking, I get a list of players on some other active competition covering part of the cake game. That part of the board is covered. If I try to play, the board changes to the next odd display. I lose my chef hat.
The game layout is replaced with this screen, before the game freezes and crashes. My token is the black cat.

I power off my phone several times a day, and it is not the cache.

If you don't want to fail and lose your chef hat, don't touch the Soda Race icon when it appears, you can pass the board as usual.

Hey there @Eugest, if you go into Settings ⚙ in the game, then press the orange button with the guys and one that has a Crown 👑, you should see your profile, there if you press the "King" logotype at the top you should see your Player ID.
Usually the game updates automatically, but sometimes it's also worth to check the store to see that an update hasn't been missed. You should also try these steps just to be sure:
- Restart: Force close apps and restart your device.
- Updates: Check that you have the latest game and device updates.
- Memory: Keep at least 2GB of free storage for smooth gameplay.
- Connection: Use WiFi instead of cellular data.
- Clear Cache: Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data

This has happened to me three times toda
y. It's getting really aggravating. Plus I get a notification that I have released everybody from jail, and when I go into the game, it says I lost my chef's hat. There have been other glitches in this game today.

Yesterday, I updated my iPhone from iOS 18.3, released January 27, 2025 to 18.3.1 released yesterday.
The artifact happened again. It appears to be five players from the Soda Race, though this time it did not stop the cake board.
This board was simpler, so I was able to complete it anyway.
Looking at the in-game gear icon, then the group does not show my player ID.
It does not show the game version.
