Game is Crashing/Freezing - FIXED!

When your game is frozen, do you see any message on the screen? If so, what does it say? By any chance, did you recently installed an update in your game?

If so, that would be the reason for you to see the frozen screen in your game. Many other players have complained about this issue. Hence, it was already reported and the King Studio is looking for a solution

The studio has been working on improving the game, can you all make sure you have game app version 5.21.3 installed on your devices as that should help improve the game.

This is the new glitch that has popped up with the latest update of the game App. This issue has been reported and the King Studio has been looking into to find a work-around

I've reported this to the studio so they can investigate the further as there might be an issue with the latest updates. I'll keep you up to date once I know more.

Some players has reported that by force closing the game app it help, but this can take few attempts and you will lose some lives during this process but cross our fingers the studio can solve this fast 🤞🤞

I was not allowed to enter the level even if I updated it until one day I could do it

I can't even open the app for Farm Heroes Saga, message says "unfortunately Farm Heroes Saga has stopped working ". I have 2 devices and I get the message on both devices. This is so frustrating as I am completely unable to play.

This thread was created for a specific issue with a pop up that was making the game freeze. Is this the issue you are experiencing or is the game just freezing without getting any pop-ups?

If there are no pop-ups, you might have to reinstall the game app as that usually solves most issues.

Note that any progress on the mobile device that has not been synchronized with Facebook/King account at this stage will be lost.

However, all the progress that is currently saved on Facebook/King account can easily be retrieved, once you have reconnected the device successfully). Regrettably, you will lose any saved boosters and messages. I would recommend using these up before re-installing, if possible.

I have cleared cachet, closed all running apps, turned my device off for a few hours, made sure I have enough memory etc etc and still the game freezes. When I close the game down and restart I can play the level I am on, when I pass the level and go on to the next level the game then freezes. Please take note...IT FREEZES EVERY TIME I REACH A NEW LEVEL. This is clearly an issue with the game. If it was an issue with my device it would freez randomly and not at specific points in the game. I don't have issues with other king games, just Farm Heroes Saga.

So... there's no hope to fix this issue other than re installing the app?

(I'll do it quickly and painless then T.T)

So the "Last chance offer" pop up that kept getting stuck, should be fixed by now. We all need to make sure we have the latest game app version installed which is 5.22.8.

@uyulalah I know I did ask @QueenB if there were updates but she had the cheek to go on holiday at the same time as me can you believe that?!

It very likely got missed, but I have tagged her again and I will send her a nudge and we can find out if there are any updates, hopefully she will see it Monday

In the meantime, have you seen the studio area? They are asking for a lot of feedback

I've updated twice (?.. I'm on 5.22.8) since my last comment. It still won't let me play but I've noticed that two times starting the app from the notification panel (a rancid event and a "free the cropsies" messages) got me a little bit further: the wifi sign starts connecting and the play button "throbs" .. before the app crashes.

It can be a play store issue but often if the app just isn't behaving, its an app issue too. In this case there is an issue with the game and it will be fixed in a future update as soon as they sort it

When playing on my IPad as soon as I open the game and hit play a pop up for last chance to buy and it will not let me close. I have tried to close the app all the way, log out, disconnect and nothing is working. I have the latest version of the app and there are no other updates available.

@Crazy Cat Lad not related?? How can you tell? I mean it did start with the "last chance" screen that wouldn't close.

Also, I have 4 additional Kings games but Farm Heroes is the only one that crashes that's why it's hard for me to believe that it's a Google play issue. BTW, I just applied the last update (5.22.7) still crashes when I open <sighs>

Anyway, I'm contacting them! I'll do anything except re-install ----so many boosters I don't want to lose T.T My 5+ I won with my Honey Bee team

ETA: They said precisely because my other Kings' games worked fine, the issue is with this particular game. They told me to contact the developer. So.. back to square one.

@uyulalah Your issue is not related to this though. The "app stopped" issue is a device/ Google Play error. Please contact Google Play Support to get the issue sorted out.

Hello, I have the same problem. I passed level 1134 and when I wanted to play level 1135 I tap on the icon nothing happens, it doesn’t open the window so I can tap “Play” to start play the game. It seems like the game doesn’t respond at all.

When I log onto the game I get a screen with an ad that says "last chance" to buy gold bars. When I try o close it, the screen freezes. The only thing I can do is lose the program. This happens every time I try to play.

What is happening when you're trying to play the level? Do you get any error message or does the game app freeze? Have you made sure you have the latest game app version installed and if so, which version do you have installed?

To find this follow these steps: Settings > General > Usage > Manage Storage > select the game > Make a note of the version number

Recently, I can not play a level higher than 1901 on mobile (no worries on a pc).
I have tried all the recommendations of the FAQ and I do not want to uninstall and re-install the game (in order to keep my boosters).

No problem to play against old levels or new challenges .. Any idea?

The version I have is 5.20.5
When trying to play I click on the level and it just says loading but doesn't load. It is doing it for levels 2439 (which I did complete on my Apple Mac) and is doing it for level 2440. It is only doing it on my IPad. I can go back & play other levels on my IPAD with no problems. I can play the Rancid's Lair event fine.

I am sorry to hear that you are having issue in your game!! What device are you using to play the game?

Can you please clarify few things...
1) When you are opening a level, is your game App closing down?
2) Or when you click on a level, is it not opening up?
3) Are you receiving any error message about the issue occurring?

Can you please post a screenshot with the issue? It would help to understand the issue better
