The small screen saying that the onion/carrot collection competition is over seems to be stuck in my game. It's impossible to tap the continue button, so I can't play any new levels. I play on a laptop/Windows 10. Help, please!!

I receive an “out of time” message indicating I have run out of time. There is a “continue” button but it does not work and message remains on my screen. How do I clear it?
