The ring is done!

Setting the stone in the ring is much easier than cutting and polishing it. It doesn’t take Lucy long to do it. Once it’s set, she places it in a ring box and is very satisfied with how brilliant it looks.

 

Rancid is ecstatic and really appreciates everything that Lucy has done for him.

 “How can I repay you, Lucy?” he questions. “How much do you want for doing all of this? You worked so hard and spent so many hours preparing this for my love.”

 Lucy shrugs it off as nothing more than helping a friend. He gives her a hug and tells her that if she ever needs a favor to please call him. 

 It’s now dark outside and they both need to get some sleep. Rancid packs up his bag because he will be heading back to Candy Town first thing in the morning. He calls Rachel but gets her voicemail, so he leaves her message. He can’t wait to propose to her.

 Wait ……………. what if she says no. That thought never entered his mind until now. They have been getting along really well and he has noticed that her feelings towards him have changed somewhat. He is getting real nervous but he needs to get some sleep so he says goodnight to Lucy and gets into bed.
