Elsa shares a special memory with them

This is no longer funny! But Elsa is enjoying the fun memories that she had writing these stories.

“The next story to pop out of the book was one of my favorite stories,” Elsa says. “We have teddy bear lovers in our community so one day I decided to write the Kimmy and the bears story dedicated to them. I ended up finding so many teddy bears but only used a handful of them. So, this is what I wrote for them…………” 

‘One day Kimmy was playing outside on a cold wintery day when suddenly candies started falling from the sky.  She picked some up and continued  her walk. Suddenly up ahead she saw some candy bears trapped in ice cubes. She threw her candy at the ice cubes hoping to break them, but no luck! She called Tiffi to ask for help but Tiffi wasn’t able to get there for a couple of days. 

She payed a visit to Aunt Lucy and explained what happened to the candy bears. Aunt Lucy had the solution for her! She sent 4 of her adopted teddy bears to follow Kimmy. By the time they got back to where the frozen candy bears were, more of them had been trapped. The oldest teddy bear, Stevie, knew exactly how to free them. He told Kimmy that bear hugs are a way of expressing love. Love always melts a heart so why shouldn’t love also melt a few ice cubes? The four teddy bears headed on over to where the trapped candy bears were and they began to hug each other by giving each other really cool bear hugs. Kimmy noticed many hearts were floating in the air and she could feel the love.  

Tiffi finally showed up with Jenny and they were both wearing their superheroes outfits. They saw an ice monster hiding behind the trees. Bam! Pow! The superheroes were not going to let the ice monster win.  After a few more hits from the Superheroes the ice monster fell to the ground. Kimmy, being the brave girl walked over slowly to the monster to see if he was still alive. She wasn’t going to let that monster scare her! Her sister and best friend were there  so the three of them could definitely destroy it. She kicked him and no movement. She got in a bit closer and kicked his hand. Still no movement.  

Tiffi and Jenny came to the rescue and saved the day! Kimmy ran over to the girls and gave them ‘bear hugs’. And the teddy bears shared so much love that they freed the candy bears.’ 

“I wasn’t done with the story because then I created a video after four of the community members posted pictures of their teddy bear collections. I haven’t figured out if I had more fun writing the story or doing the video.” 

Hana and Aiko are fascinated that Elsa has written so many stories. They are thrilled that she is able to share these stories with them but what if they are really trapped? What if they are stuck here in this book forever? How will they get out? Elsa seems like a very smart person so they have confidence that she will find a way out for all of them.
