‘Water Faeries are often connected to legends of tempting and luring men into their magical undersea paradise realms or punishing those who mistreat fish, sea creatures, and bodies of water. They represent our romantic and sexual urges and show us we cannot escape these longings. Most Water Nymphs are known for their hauntingly beautiful music and voices.
Water spirits are the purifiers and protectors of all bodies of water, including lakes, rivers, creeks, waterfalls, ponds, and oceans. They can even be present in aquariums or waterparks. Water has a strong link to emotions, the subconscious, the moon, and femininity, and this is reflected in the personality and traits of water beings.
They resonate with the colours blue, turquoise, and silver. If creating an altar or making an offering, water spirits enjoy seashells, seaweed, dishes of water, chalices, fountains, mirrors, or imagery of dolphins, octopi, and seahorses.
Water elementals prefer herbs and oils of eucalyptus, jasmine, rose, vanilla, and myrrh. They love crystals and stones, such as aquamarine, aqua aura, pearls, silver, chalcedony, moonstone, jade, sapphire, and coral.
