Where are they?

Chewy makes a mad dash into the pile and falls in. Tiffi doesn’t see him surfacing or even hear him laughing. He loves his playtime so he should have giggled or something. It’s now her turn to jump and she hopes that she doesn’t land on top of him. 

Down, down, down she goes …………………….. and ends up  somewhere else.  

“Hey Tiffi, I’m over here,” Chewy says. “What happened to us? What is this place?” 

Tiffi stands up and shakes the leaves off her clothes. She looks around and nothing looks familiar. Up ahead is a nice wooded area and it looks like there’s a wolf. Tiffi starts walking towards it and Chewy tells her not to go near the wolf. After all, you don’t know if it will attack.

Tiffi has no fear of animals so she doesn’t pay attention to what her friend is telling her.  She stops a distance away from the gray wolf and Tiffi looks him in the eye. The wolf looks back at her and looks into her eyes too. It’s as if they are talking to each other. Wow, can Tiffi talk to the animals?  

When she feels confident enough after looking eye to eye she gets a little closer to him. The wolf is crying. The tears are running down his face. Now Tiffi feels so sad for him and has to find out why he’s crying.  

The wolf talks back to her through his eyes. He tells her that he lost his pack.
