The girls meet up for lunch

Rachel has plans to meet up with her maid of honor and bridesmaids at Le Bistro to discuss the wedding ideas.

“Wow, we all got here around the same time,” Jelly Queen says. “Isn’t it grand that us girls are always so punctual?” 

Once they are seated Rachel takes out her wedding planner and they begin to discuss what needs to be done.  

“I don’t want a bridal shower,” says Rachel. “I don’t need anything so why ask the guests to spend money when they will be buying their clothes and giving us a wedding gift. I don’t want to tax all of you girls either. I will be paying for all the flowers. Rancid and I are thinking of getting married in the Basilica de Santa Maria Del Mar Church. Nothing has been arranged for the reception after the services yet. Blossom is taking care of all the flowers. We have to figure out the food menu and also choose a wedding cake style. What else is there girls? Oh, and I don’t want all of you to be spending a lot of money on bridesmaids dresses. You can just wear your usual if that’s ok with all of you.” 

Elsa brings up the subject of wedding favors. She tells them that she read some ideas online and wants to share them with everyone. 

‘Something homemade will always make a great impression as wedding favors. Think about a glass jar with homemade granola, jam or miniature pies to dig into on the way home. Packaging of your wedding favors is definitely essential so make sure it looks stylish, yet personal. You could use a classic-style box in the color of your wedding decoration theme and fill it out with candies or chocolates and then add an out-of-the-ordinary tag, like the ones made from recycled paper with your initials on it, date of your wedding or both. You can use ribbons and see-through packaging for a tea, coffee or hot coco kit. Small plants like succulents also do the trick. You could write the name of your guests on the little pots so that everyone can take home their personalized wedding favors. Options are endless… 

Fun shaped soaps or personalized M&M’s could be a very nice touch too, but if you are looking for something a bit less cutesy and girly, you could consider giving everyone a cool personalized glass jar or shot glasses with small bottles of liquor, a mini bottle of champagne or wine with a print on it.’ (Source) 

“So, what do you suggest?” asks Rachel. 

Tiffi tells Rachel that her bridal party can work on that together and they will surprise her that day. Rachel tells them not to spend a lot of money cause none of them are rich. Tiffi also tells Rachel that they’d like to check out the prices of bridesmaid’s dresses and Rachel cannot say no to that! 

Rachel looks at the time and realizes that they have sitting in the restaurant for over 2 hours already. It’s time to go home.
