Home at last!

“It’s been a fun day but I’m glad that we’re home,” says Tiffi. “Dad we’re home.” 

Mr. Toffee reminds them to take off their winter clothing before walking through the house. It sure smells good in the kitchen. Kimmy walks into the kitchen to see what her father is cooking. Tiffi heads into her bedroom to check on her computer to see if anyone needs here in the community. Nope! That’s good. She now walks into the living room to relax with the rest of them. 

“Dad, what are you cooking?” asks Tiffi. “It sure smells good.” 

Yeti goes to visit his buddy in the Kitchen. Mr. Toffee is looking in a cookbook for something.

“Hey, hey, hey buddy of mine,” says Yeti. “Why didn’t you join us today? Red Rabbit and I were having a snowball fight and that was so much fun.” 

Mr. Toffee looks up from his cookbook and smiles when he sees Yeti. 

“Hey there Yeti, what’s up?” says Mr. Toffee. “These old bones of mine just can’t handle the snow and the cold anymore so that’s why I didn’t join you. I had a nice relaxing afternoon just watching some TV shows. Dinner will be ready shortly.” 

They continue chatting until dinner is done.  

“Girls, the food is done,” Mr. Toffee says. “Join us in the dining room.”
