“Wykoon what are you doing here?” asks Nix66. “This is a pleasant surprise to have you join us in part 2 of this story.”
Kimmy says hello to both girls. Tiffi talks about these girls all the time so Kimmy feels like she knows a bit about both of them. Time to look for some recipe ideas.
“Should we look for some heart shaped cookie recipes?” asks Koon. “Or we could look for recipes on heart shaped candies.”
Kimmy finds an article that might be helpful: 20 Homemade Valentine’s Day Chocolates.
‘These homemade Valentine's Day chocolates may just rival that box of chocolates you saw at the store.
Truffle Cherries - Chocolate is popular at our house, especially during the holidays, so these double chocolate gems never last long!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Candy - With only three ingredients, these chocolate-swirl treats take just moments to whip up! If you have little ones visiting for the holidays, have them help you with the stirring.
Creamy Peppermint Patties - These smooth chocolate candies fill the bill for folks who like a little sweetness after a meal but don't want a full serving of rich dessert.
Chocolate Marshmallow Peanut Butter Squares - I combined a couple of recipes to create these crunchy, chocolaty peanut butter marshmallow bars that burst with flavor. The bars could also pass for fudge!
Buckeyes - These chocolate peanut butter balls (no bake!) are always popular at my church's annual Christmas fundraiser. They resemble chestnuts or buckeyes—hence the name.
Kimmy remembers Tiffi telling her that Elsa made the buckeyes once and they were out of this world. I bet Yeti would love some of those!
Three-Chocolate Fudge - I make this fudge at Christmastime to give to friends and neighbors. That tradition started years ago when I made more candy than my husband, three sons and I could eat, so we shared it. It's a tasty tradition I'm glad to continue.
Chocolate-Covered Peanut Butter & Pretzel Truffles - Sweet chocolate, creamy peanut butter and salty pretzels create a to-die-for truffle. It’s a little bite of decadence and a special indulgence for the holiday season.’ (Source)
“I think we can choose a couple from this group,” says Nix66. “Is it just the three of us that will be doing this? If so, then we need to limit how many different candies we really need. Maybe we should do 2 from this list and a chocolate cake. What do you both think about this idea?”
Kimmy goes back online to look for some Valentine’s Day cake recipes. She shares them with the girls but they are not too excited so they give up on the cake and decide that they’ll just make 2 chocolate recipes: the creamy peppermint patties and the chocolate covered peanut butter and pretzel truffles.
The girls are satisfied with their choices. Kimmy notices Koon with a barrel of hearts and asks where she’s going. Koon says that she’s going to spread the love around the community. Kimmy decides to join her while Nix66 calls Elsa to share the recipes that they are going to make for the party. Elsa is happy to hear this and tells her that she will get back to all of them once everything is planned. Next on the list is @DieOmimi, Chewy, and @Greymane. This is going to be another surprise because the girls have no clue that more friends are joining them.
Let’s continue – The group looks for jokes and riddles
