The four of them get together to practice

Time to start baking and decorating cakes for our 4 characters who will be doing the King baking competition. They all meet up at Tiffi’s house.

“Where do we begin?” questions Yeti. “Hey Jelly Queen, where did you get those flowers?” 

Jelly Queen gives the flowers to Tiffi as she tells Yeti that she picked them from her garden.  

“I’m not sure where we should begin,” says Tiffi. “Let me get out all the ingredients and Yeti please look on your tablet for some easy recipes.” 

Yeti grabs his tablet and heads into the living room. Rachel decides to help him. Tiffi and Jelly Queen take out all the ingredients and baking tools that they will need. Tiffi also turns on the oven to get it to the desired baking temperature. 

“What kind of cake recipes should I look for,” asks Yeti. “I have to look for a chocolate cake recipe, but do we look for the cake recipe first or look for recipes with some decorating ideas?” 

Rachel tells him that she’s heard of topsy turvy cakes so maybe they should look for both the recipe and then how to decorate it. Yeti types in topsy turvy cake recipes and finds a video. The two of them watch it together.

“That looks like a lot of work,” Rachel says. “I don’t know if I can do all of that. I’m going to help Tiffi and Jelly Queen with the baking.”

 Yeti thinks that he would like to take a chance, but Rachel could be right that it might be too much work for a competition. He finds a couple more recipes and then goes to help the girls in the kitchen. 

Needless to say, the first day of practice makes more of a mess than they ever imagined it could be. They will have to meet a few more times to get a better hang on these cakes.
