Oh no, what happened to Odus?

The rest of them now show up and walk over to the bench to get a yo-yo. Look at this, Red Rabbit is already learning how to do tricks! He is really good!

“Phillippe, please watch how you throw that yo-yo,” says Jean-Luc. “You all need to give yourself space so that you don’t hit each other.”

Does Phillippe ever listen to his brother? Of course not! He swings it up into the air and would you believe that he not only loses control of it but the string falls off his finger and the yo-yo goes up into the air? 

It heads in the direction where Odus is standing. Watch out Odus! Fortunately Odus sees it coming towards him and he moves in time.

But then suddenly the same thing happens to Yeti. He loses control of his yo-yo and the yo-yo also falls off his finger. Up in the air it goes and this time it does lands on Odus. Poor Odus!

“What’s going on here?” asks Jean-Luc. “This seems to be too dangerous of a toy for me! Are you ok Odus?”

Jean-Luc runs over to Odus to make sure that he’s ok. He does have a small bump on his head but other than that he seems to be ok.

“Where am I?” Odus asks. “What happened to me?”

They all look at each other and run to Odus’ aide. Was the yo-yo hard enough to give him a concussion? Sure hope not but they will take him to the hospital to check it out anyway.

And so this new toy was fun for most of them but maybe they are better off using their yo-yos when they are alone instead of being in a crowd. It was a good start to the summer.

“Hey guys, what do you want to do next?” asks Tiffi.

They all shrug their shoulders. The summer has just started so they have plenty of time to plan more things.
