Time to say goodbye

Misty’s phone beeps. She’s getting a text message from a player who needs help with a game level. She tells Claire that she have to leave. 

Claire understands that her and Adam took up quite a bit of Misty’s time and apologizes.

“I am so happy that Adam and I met up with you today Misty,” says Claire. “I hope that he didn’t tire you out with all his why questions. I learned so much from you today and I thank you for that.”

They exchange phone numbers and Misty tells Claire that she can call her at any time if she needs any help. Misty takes her leave but Claire remains on the bench enjoying the beautiful weather. When Adam wakes up from his nap she is going to buy him some ice cream!

An hour later Misty finishes helping the players and takes a leisurely walk home. She stops at the ice cream store and bumps into Yeti.

“Funny bumping into you Yeti,” says Misty. “Anything exciting going on? I have to tell you what just happened to me.”

Misty tells Yeti all about Claire and Adam and how she was able to answer some why questions about the sun rising and setting. Yeti can’t believe that she had a similar experience.

“Oh Wow, you too,” exclaims Yeti. “I just met up with a woman and her little boy who also had a lot of why questions. It sure was fun helping him and then I was able to help the mother understand and empathize with her frustration because I remember going through that phase with Jenny.”

Misty tells Yeti that he better hurry up and finish his chocolate ice cream because it’s starting to melt. They say their goodbyes and Misty goes inside to get some ice cream in a cone. 

On the way home she calls Tiffi to share her adventure.
