Misty comes up with an idea!
“Hey Adam, I think we need to change the subject,” says Misty. “You seem to be getting confused with all that information. So, instead of confusing you with more information on the sun color how would you like to learn more about sun and how it rises and sets?”
“Why does the sun rise and set?,” asks Adam.
“Hey Adam, this is what sunrise is all about,” says Misty. “Very early in the morning the sun rises above the horizon and that’s called sunrise.”
“Why does the sun set?” asks Adam.
“Sunset is when the sun goes below the horizon,” says Misty.
Misty decides to do a search for a video that might help Adam actually see the sunrise and sunset to get a better visual idea of what it’s all about. Claire mouths a thank you in Misty’s direction.
Misty finds an awesome time lapse video of the ocean sunrise to sunset. She turns her phone so that Adam can see it.
As the video plays Misty gives an explanation as to what is going on. When it ends Adam has a satisfied look on his face that now he understands the difference. Then Misty comes across a video with an easy science experiment for kids explaining it further.
Video is over and then the questions start again.
“But why does it rise and set?” asks Adam.
