Odus talks to Tiffi about his adventure

Tiffi is now finished sharing all her friends’ adventure. Mr. Toffee is getting a bit sleepy so he says goodnight to her and throws her a kiss. She calls Odus to apologize for not being able to talk to him earlier.

“Hi Odus, I’m so sorry that I couldn’t talk to you earlier,” says Tiffi. “I was telling him how Yeti, Rachel, Rancid and Misty all had similar circumstances today. I just don’t get it! How can all of her friends have the same things happen to them.”

Odus asks what she is talking about. She shares what she was told and much to her surprise Odus tells her that he had a very similar experience today too.

“I was helping a player with their game level when a father came by carrying his son on his shoulder,” says Odus. “His son was asking him some questions about the moon. Poor father, he looked so frustrated because his son kept asking why and but why? questions. Since I do have a fair amount of knowledge about the moon I asked the father if he’d like me to help explain what the moon is all about. The father looked relieved that someone else could help him with the why questions. I offered some facts about the moon colors and phases of the moon. I also offered the father some parenting tips to help when his son continues asking why.”

Tiffi is totally confused how this could happen. Odus and Tiffi talk a bit more and then they make plans to get together.

Tiffi has to Google something to find out what it’s called when similar things happen to different people on the same day. But she’s not sure what words to put into the search engine.

Just then her phone rings and it’s Olivia calling. It’s getting late and it’s bedtime so she’s surprised that Olivia is calling so late. 

“Are you ok Olivia,” asks Tiffi. “You’re calling so late and this is so not like you calling at this hour.”

Olivia tells her that she had a weird experience today and she had to share it with someone. But when she hears Tiffi yawning she decides to hold it off until tomorrow.

“I’m ok, nothing is wrong with me,” says Olivia. “I’m wound up from an experience that I had today and I wanted to share it with you but now looking at the time we both should go to sleep. I’ll call you in the morning to tell you what happened.”
