Misty shares her adventure with Tiffi

Puppies have been walked and Tiffi has had her snack. Time now to call Misty back.

“Hey Misty, sorry that I had to cut you short before,” Tiffi says. “But when the dogs have to go outside I have to drop everything because I don’t want them piddling on the floor.”

Misty tells her friend that there is no need to apologize. 

“You’re not going to believe what happened to me today,” exclaims Misty. “I was strolling through the park when I met up with this mother and her young son. She was reading a book to him but after a while he lost interest and started asking her why questions.”

“Oh wow you too!,” exclaims Tiffi. “First Yeti and then Rachel and Rancid and now you. How is it possible that all of you had similar experiences on the same day?”

Misty tells Tiffi that she bumped into Yeti at the ice cream store so she already knew about Yeti having a similar experience but didn’t know about Rachel and Rancid. What’s going on? Is it a full moon? Or is it a coincidence that they are all experiencing this on the same day? 

The girls talk for a bit and then make plans to see each other soon.

Tiffi goes to watch some TV with Mr. Toffee. She is shaking her head in disbelief because she just can’t figure out how they can all have a similar experience on the same day.

“Why do you look so puzzled Tiffi,” asks Mr. Toffee.

Tiffi goes into one of her energetic talks and Mr. Toffee has to tell her to slow it down.

“Dad is it possible for 3 of my friends to have similar experiences at the same time?” asks Tiffi. “Earlier in the day I spoke to Yeti and he told me that he bumped into a mother and little boy while he was taking a walk. The little boy was asking a lot of why questions so he stopped to help the mother because she looked so frustrated with all those why questions.”

Mr. Toffee chuckles as he recalls Tiffi doing the same thing.  

“Your adventure is reminding me when you went through that phase,” says Mr. Toffee.

Tiffi begins to share what Rachel and Rancid did when her phone rings. It’s Odus calling.

“Hi Odus, what’s up?” asks Tiffi. “Can I call you back in a bit because I am talking to my father now about some things that happened today?”

Sure! No problem!

Odus takes a walk outside and he thinks about today’s experience. He can’t wait to share it with Tiffi.
