Tiffi reminisces about Thanksgiving

Tiffi gathers all the articles and sends an email to Elsa. She feels that it’s more than enough to create the Mayflower story and she just loves when she can co-author a story with her. Tiffi’s phone rings and it’s Yeti calling. 

“Hi Yeti, I just emailed Elsa with some articles for her story,” says Tiffi. “You’re not going to believe this! Elsa got the idea for this new story because there is a National Mayflower Day coming up in September. When she found out about the Mayflower she knew this had to be her next story.” 

Tiffi shares with Yeti all the information that she found online and how surprised she was when she learned that the people who travelled on the Mayflower were the pilgrims and when they landed in Plymouth they met up with Native Americans who were the first settlers there.  

“Yeti this is how Thanksgiving started!” exclaims Tiffi. 

 “Do you remember when we all celebrated Thanksgiving together?” asks Tiffi.

Yeti does remember and he suggests that maybe they get together again this year, especially after all this pandemic stuff.

“I remember last year when the pigs and turkeys were protesting,” says Tiffi. 

Thanksgiving 2020

“They didn’t want Americans eating pork and turkey,” Tiffi says. “I remember Chewy protesting along with them in the center of town. Maybe we should get together again this year but we have to be vegans because we don’t want our animal friends to be eaten.” 

Tiffi tells Yeti that she’s not sure if there is time to have another summer get together but asks what he has in mind. He tells her that he really doesn’t know but if he comes up with something that they haven’t done yet he will let her know. 

And now this story comes to an end. Tiffi is excited to be co-authoring with Elsa. Just then her phone rings and it’s Kimmy calling. 

“Hey Tiffi, if you’re not busy how about coming to Soda Town to spending some time with me,” asks Kimmy. 

Sounds like a plan!
