We must remind ourselves to take breaks occasionally and remember something bigger.๐๐ I'm afraid I cant help much for the southern hemisphere, Most of what I know is just wanting to learn more about what I have experienced for myself.๐.though I do recall a NEW METEOR SHOWER called Arids . I believe should be appearing @ about this time. ๐๐

The Comet McNaught was in Southern hemisphere,you might be able to help out @greddycandy with some astronomy info.๐sadly,I wasnt able to experience that one,though I think the last I seen was around March/April also of 2007 the Comet Hale-Bopp. Guess its time to look for some๐โฏ๏ธ

I love observe the sky night and day but I live near a big city and there is a lot of light pollution โน๏ธ Fortunately my city switch of the lights between 1 and 5 o'clock! And the moon and Venus are often visible to wonder our eyes ๐โจ
