I am watching that too @Minatozaki ! We are watching it with our very own (should have been called) Wednesday (she is 11) and she is taking notes on how to make her parents proud bahaha. She wants to dye her hair black and have a fringe put in 🤷‍♂️

I cannot believe they had complaints about the pirhana scene being too violent. The 60s Wednesday had to have it toned down, she'd have put sharks in! Its odd seeing a character who has been in star wars and game of thrones in it though as she looks so different! And of course the original Wednesday herself too.

I have seen a lot of posts on the socials about it, how she had covid and felt ill while filming the dance scene and poor Thing. Its a good job he's flexible! She's a great fit for the character though. I liked her in "You"

We have The Crown waiting to be watched next too 🤗

  • @Lady_Choo aww! That's adorable tho! There are worse "idols" to follow, haha.

Maybe because I like horror, I saw no harm in that scene; it wasn't that graphic either. It's a bit... people get sensitive over little things but disregard dangerous and essential topics in the world. I didn't watch Game of Thrones, and I'm not a Star Wars fan. 🤣

It seems like Wednesday surpassed Stranger Things 4 this year, so no wonder it's all over the place. Funny, before it started, people were "hating" the cast.

The Crown? I think I've heard about it, but it didn't catch my attention... I'm waiting on Sweet Home and Alice in Borderland (both season 2)

@Minatozaki its Britsh history so it probably wouldn't appeal to you so much but this latest series they are trying so hard to claim its not a real representation and is fictional....is based on a lot of fact and some of us lived through it so haven't forgotten lol.

I think hubby and the child watch Alice in borderland.

People always hate the cast unless it represents things exactly. I watched a series based on a set of books called Vampire Academy. Even before it came out people were saying it wouldn't be any good because of the cast and it was brilliant 😁

  • @Lady_Choo as a European, I've grown up with monarchy and medieval history, which I love. But lately, most shows are overdone and focused on the same topics... I'm incredibly picky. haha

Does your child watch Alice?? It's not too violent, but it's a bit impactful.

I've watched a few episodes of Vampire Academy, but the plot was too predictable, so I've dropped it. But the cast is good!

Hi @Minatozaki. I would advise against anyone watching The Crown, if they're interested in our Monarchy, because, from reading about it, it is pure fiction containing lots of events which never happened or have been distorted.

  • @CassD yeah... that kind of plot isn't my cup of tea. Not related, but I found the Bridgerton series quite boring.

The books were better 😉 and yeah... think Wednesday. She probably shouldn't watch it really but if she started having issues because of it we'd turn it off.

Aw @CassD some conversations no. Like the behind the scenes ones. Some of the really cringey ones yes. I can remember 🤮

  • @Lady_Choo yeah, and I have a feeling Alice's season 2 will be more... "bloody" so, maybe your husband should watch it first 🤣

Hey Mina, I’m currently rewatching my favourite series Suits. Also a Korean drama called She was pretty’ (with English subtitles 😅)

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
