Striped Lollipop Hammer

My favorite booster in the game is the Striped Lollipop Hammer, this for sure (for me) can be useful in levels, which literally smashes blockers at once (comparing to other lollipop hammers) and also clears candies vertically and horizontally, this can help me a lot in events.

What about the amount of extra boosters. I collected more than 500 from 5000 to 6000. Does one need extra boosters at all?
