Hello dear Wendy @WendyG78
Great contribution. We sometimes speak of a lunar eclipse, but you can only see it well in certain places. Where I live in the city is really bad. I have a hard time making out asterisks myself. I love it when the night sky is clear and the stars are twinkling so beautifully. Just one more note: badges would be great, unfortunately not feasible. There are new rules for this and these are decided by the CMS. I am not allowed to offer a badge even in the German area. I'm working to have one next month. But I can't decide that myself.
I am very sorry!!!😔
Hi @WendyG78 thank you so much for this awesome post 🌟 thank you @Diamond Lim for the tag. I feel exactly the same way as you do Wendy, I get lost and also find myself, I find great sanctuary, peace and solace in looking to the sky both during the day and night, at night it is even more magical. I have always had a deep fascination since I was a young child, and am a great believer in higher spirits and the Earth's energies, needless to say I am also into astrology ♌️
As always thanks for the tag @Diamond Lim really appreciate you for every tag and I love the info on this post I have been into astronomy since I was little I use to always look to see if I could see lights on up there anywhere lol but I love laying out on my deck at night staring up and just losing myself and all my problems I had that day and just putting myself up there with the stars and shine I try to see as much in a night as I can
Wow! That was quite informative. I just checked in to look up strategy for a Candy Crush level, and end up with knowledge of celestial events. Thanks, @WendyG78 (and to @Diamond Lim for tagging me in so many interesting & fun topics). I shall endeavor to get out more at night and look up (actually, for this very purpose, just last week I downloaded an astronomy app on my new iPhone, which identifies every object - unless a UFO flys by, anyway).
While I’m fascinated by the science (& have dabbled in astrology), as a comparative mythology geek I tend to focus on all the stories associated with stars & planets in the night sky. I need to get my 👀 out of books and looking at the real thing more often! 🪐💫⭐️🤩
