Dynamic Duo - no buddy

Click settings, click on features, click the green checkmark to turn off dynamic duo, close the app, reopen, go back to settings, then features and turn dynamic duo back on. It starts searching for a new friend and finds one!

That is exactly what happened to me. It was working fine, searched for a new buddy since the one I had wasn't doing anything (and I had searched before for a new buddy and had no problem) and it's been like this ever since.

Hi @dsbrink and @pandasrdope, I don't understand what's going on with the buddy challenge. I see messages saying, like what both of you said, and then I see replies saying that it started again. About the only thing that I am going to ask you to do right now is to try some troubleshooting. Clear the history and make sure that you have the most recent version of the game. Then click on one of the links below to complete the troubleshooting.

The troubleshooting might work but it might not work. I know that they would tell me to have you do the troubleshooting first. Here is another suggestion, have either one of you ever played the Sugar Drop challenge? You can collect up to 13 free boosters every 8 hours. That offers much better rewards than the buddy challenge which will give you limited time with one booster. You can read all about the Sugar Drop challenge here:

Before any change is implemented a randomly chosen group of players is selected to trial the feature, and based upon how the change is viewed king then decide whether the change is one they want to adopt or not. This feature has been rolled out to different players for a certain amount of time but not everyone will receive this.
