Why is my game always trying to connect?

I just bought a new phone because I kept having connection problems with both Candy Crush and Candy Crush Soda. Over the past few months, I have had to keep rebooting the game and to refresh my connection. I've lost levels and lots of time trying to play my games. Now I changed to a brand new phone and it's still having connection problems.
