I did the same and lost lives and only get a max of 50?
why are some getting a 100?

@Crazy Cat Lad please inform the design team that providing a pop-up about the inbox change does not fix, or make the change acceptable. Listen to all of the feedback here and return the inbox to its original design of allowing people to store 1000 lives.

I too have played this game for years and I am not happy with this change. I am leaving the game.

Why make changes no player asked for AND for the worse?! This only made people complain.

After playing for ten years I suddenly was getting lots of lives and thought it was because I had reached a certain level. I also thought it was because I no longer used Facebook. I was happy to know I could play the game more often. Why does every developer think that changing things so nothing works anymore is a better idea? I get five lives per day, if I am lucky, but I am able to endlessly fill send a life requests from others. Why not give end,Edโs lives to everyone until you fix the problem? Signed, feeling frustrated as heck.

Because someone fiddled with something over at Zynga and broke something and not they have to figure out what they broke?

I get 100, it was initially 80, then increased to 150 and then was reduced to 100
