What happened to the extra moves when you click on give up?
Have been able to get them up until game 6203 and with only 23 moves this level definitely needs xtra moves

I wish I knew Carol. Of all the changes made by King this is the one that really makes no sense at all to me. The only result that I can see for this test is loads of complaints from frustrated players.
If King are reducing the amount of lives and not giving extra moves what is the point of playing.
That is something I have said already Carol the double whammy of reduced lives and now no extra moves will surely see players leaving en masse.
I can't imagine that even those who can afford to pay or others who struggle to pay would be happy with this.
That is my guess as to what this test is all about. The only thing that King can be testing by removing the extra moves is to see how many buy moves, or how many stop playing. Nothing else makes sense.
Alternatively this could be their answer to the life limit. The change to the life limit has seriously upset people that buy things for their games and I don't think King saw this coming. I think that by removing or changing the frequency of the extra moves and giving people back the ability to send and receive lives they hope to get those people buying again.

Hi Foxy seeing as last time this happened to you the issue fixed itself all I can suggest is that you stop playing other than to collect the Booster Wheel booster and check that the extra moves feature is back in your game. Obviously you will have to play a level once to check for the extra moves, but I would suggest just play the once and save your boosters & lives until the feature is working again.
Level 12193 and my extra moves are still gone. Frustrated.

they are changing a lot of things in a bad way
I play candy since many years and I think I’m ready to give it up . It’s clear that they are pushing players to buy …but even buying gold bars you re still unable to pass the level . it’s not a pleasure anymore , it’s just frustrating

Honestly, it is NOT a test. This feature has been there like forever so why remove it if not to make money? I just think someone has overlooked the fact that many levels from 12000 and up are absolutely impossible to solve without extra moves. So now the game is only for those willing and able to pay.
On the other hand for some reason they gave me unlimited lives to play the same level over and over again.. not quite grasping the concept of this test of theirs
Totally agree with you, it's supposed to be fun after all but being unable to progress and play the same darned level for days is not my idea of fun !!
It's so annoying isn't it, you come to rely on extra help in the levels above 10,000 and they just take it away !! It's not as if it's free either, still had to be bought with 10 gold bars, C,mon King sort it out, if you intend to remove this feature permanently then I shall give up playing, it's supposed to be fun but days and days of playing the same level isn't exactly fun :(
I’ve just used 69 gold bars to purchase six hours of “lives” in Candy Crush only to find that there was no longer the extra moves awarded after playing a level multiple times resulting in me making zero progress and using all of the remaining bars I had when I thought I was close to finishing - & failed.
Reading the comments suggest this is a temporary modification- I’m a big Candy Crush fan on level 12196 but this has destroyed my enjoyment- I think this might be the trigger to get me to stop playing- life will never be the same again. I hope King reverse the modification immediately
No, they just came back for 24 hours but have gone again now ......makes me so angry !!!!
CC has made a number of changes over the past year to increase revenue. More money to buy bonus moves, less gold bars for same money. Also some features have been eliminated which now costs money to get those one time free features.
It’s called a money grub.
I see the problem of extra lives is rampant. Can anyone tell me how to fix it.
Im also stuck on this level. Don't think we' will pass it until King is done with their 'test'. They ruined the game with these tests.
how is playing the same level a million times keeping things ''fresh and interesting''..we are bored and frustrated..according to the many many posts relating to this topic. There's your test results.. good job, no one is spending any more money on gold bars and we are all considering uninstalling.

I also spent 10$ to only pass 3 levels.. I'm also stuck on 12211 with no extra movws adding up. I don't know what kind of ''trial'' they are using us for this time but it sucks and enough to make me uninstall. I've been thinking about it anyway because I'm always buying gold bars for those 35 extra moves. I'm not buying anything until this is fixed or the levels are passable with the amount of moves given. You can't even pass with fully loaded boosters with the amount of moves they give!
Me too. And this morning when I start the game only my name is there. My other players were there with pink hearts to send lives…gone! The fun part is gone. If I’m going to work this hard they should be paying me!!
I’m done until they reverse their decision and I definitely won’t be spending any money
For the first time ever, I purchased gold bars to keep me going when the extra moves reached 20+.
I won't be buying again until this latest decision has been reversed.

It looks that extra moves have been back! I'm on 12207 and got 11 extra moves so far!
I don’t think it it is a bug but King just tries to earn more money on the back of their players.
I won’t be spending any more money on this game!
Bug? Earlier it was called a test. A test is intentional.
I am also not happy with the removal of extra lives when you have failed the level. I am also not happy with the limit of 15 extra lives for the day! So what purpose is it to ask for extra lives and not be able to use them? I might as well stop playing and find something better to utilize my time.
Maybe they were testing the bug??

I feel the same way! There is no point even playing this game. I will move on and find something else to utilize my down time and will save money doing so. What is the point of limiting extra lives to 15 a day and allowing you to bank lives that you have been given by your fellow players. I will not use gold bars to purchase 5 lives!

We have numerous players who are fed up with King. Since it doesn’t seem that they are responding I’m hoping we all complain to King directly. Also, many indicated that they are looking for another game. Please post new or old games to play instead of this one. Thanks
Why do you make it where we can only receive 20 lives in 24 hr period? If I ask my friends to send me lives, it shouldn't matter how many times I ask. If I ask 50 times and my friends sends them, then I should be able to. I agree with the rest of the members maybe we should just to playing.

Made me realise the psychology of this game is fascinating. It's taken me far longer to pass levels and that means I lost on the gold bar race over three rounds. But I'm determined not to fall for any more purchasing.
