I continue to collect the games' currency of spoons but no award is triggered and thre is no award chart.
This event has appeared in my Candy Crush game again today and is still not working. I had the same issue as last time this event ran. Right now I have 7 spoons that I cannot use to smash the boxes to reveal the baked goods underneath.
I contacted King Customer Care on August 17, 2024 regarding the same issue I had with 77 Spoons and again with no response regarding this issue. I am operating on an Android Device.

Bakers box spoons showed up again in my game
What is this?
Last time I collected 35 spoons and nothing happened there is nothing showing
It looks like if you get 16 spoons you get something but I did not get anything
Haha my theory gone to waste :D Oh well it did still affect the super lolipops so I don't feel too bad ><

I’m collecting spoons too for this bakers box, and so far only one of the segments has revealed after 30 spoons. At this rate it won’t be complete any time soon! Anyone know how many spoons are needed for the whole box?

Some features are not available to all players, other times come and other times go!

I can't honestly say for sure. Maybe since 2015 or so.
How long have you been playing?
The other players in the Episode race and Candy Royale are recordings of players who played the levels previously, that is why King claim that all the other players are real. Strictly speaking they are real. However, given that King have millions of players to choose from in their database, those other players from recordings are about as fake as an AI player would be. They are picked by King to make the event challenging for you and they are picked deliberately for a specific outcome for you. What I meant by AI is that I suspect that AI work out many of the algorithms of the game, the level boards and of the events, and the human workforce at King is probably reducing. The new levels that King churn out every week are obviously written by an AI.
I have used your suggestion of retrying but you use lives and the game only allows 20 daily friend given lives to be used.
My work around has been to use 69 bars for 6 hours of lives. It's slower progess but I keep my package of purchased bars longer and do miss out on promotions that require sequential wins, such as Royale. The frenzy promo is a WASTE.
Do you know if CCS uses AI players to create a sense of player urgency? Some of the player behavior would suggest AI. For example, in Frenzy I play a game and then recheck my rankings and a player will have earned too many points for a human to earn in such a short time.
It occurred in a similar pattern in a marble crush game online and they were so lazy that that some of their levels had Christmas motifs whilst it was Spring and Summer.
This event was supposed to be in the game last season, one of the ones QueenB mentioned.
I can also likely explain what is wrong with the event. What I suspect it is.
There is the image of the spoon that is not intractable. There is also a transparent clickable event that is what "activates" the spoon. The image should be on the back layer and the event should be on the front layer.
If you reverse this the event becomes non interactive due to the background image being in front of it.
This actually happened with the super lolipops. Sometimes the clickable event would appear behind the image and thus they were useless.
This is a common issue with visual design tools is it can be very easy to mix or or reverse the layers if there are multiple ones.
This usually results in about of month of constant mocking of the dev that did it by the other devs as it is a "noob" mistake.

The basic step would be to use the spoons on the candy circles to scoop out the pink things that are blocking the hidden items!!

I now have the event in my game and I find it similar to Battleship game we used to play as children. You need to tap on the cake to find the shapes of the cookies shown above. Each spoon lets you uncover one square, so tap wisely looking at the shapes you need to find.
This event worked for me Do you see the Bakers Box in your game? It looks to me like on your screenshot you have a screen inside another screen. Is that the explanation screen? This thread explains how the event works. Click on "view post" and then go to page 2 of that thread.
So it doesn't open into a playable page... the screenshot is what happens if I press on bakers box from either the map or the events tab... thins it's an error but I can't change it and I have around 40 spoons and it expires in less than a day

Thank you for the screenshot! Yes! It definitely looks like the feature is glitchy in your game!
Did you try to logout - close the App - turning off the device and restarting after 5 to 10 minutes - reopen the App and log back in? If you did not yet, can you please try and see if it works?
The Community in-charge won't be here till tomorrow as they do not work in the weekends. I would suggest you to contact King Player Support team and send them a complaint. I am not sure how much help they can be as this is very new feature! But, you can try🤔
I’m ready to give up and delete the game all together. It really seems like the people behind the game just want my money. Making levels impossible and trying to tempt me to purchase moves and boosters. No.
