I was playing on star tournament, making good progress on Top That, had to close the app to take care of some things, opened app, it's gone! On another device, it came on. Hit "play" and disappeared. What's going on?

The "Top That" feature will be returning to the game today. The issue that caused it to disappear was related to the ongoing Season Mastery event which we have turned off for now to work on improvements.
You should see Top That back in your game shortly with all your previously gained progress 😉

Please stop sending us the auto bot generic responses. This never works. Ever. And I will never again log out of my game. Because every single time I tried, I lost all my progress, months and months of play. Gone. I've never, ever been able to log out and log back in and come back to the same place. It either erases your progress or when you log back in, ALL of the gold bars you had, are gone. Restarting doesn't work. These annoying bot responses are ridiculous.
Same here! Top That was part of Season Mastery yesterday. Today it disappeared, but Season Mastery came back a few hours ago by itself which is useless bc Top That was the only participating event. Ridiculous.
It started on both devices yesterday as usual and this morning it disappeared from both devices and still hasn't shown up again. It's gone. Restarting the device and the game did NOT help. It never helps. Not once. And I am not logging out of my game because I will immediately lose all my progress when I log back in. This hasn't ever workes for me. Not once. Logging out and logging back in means ALWAYS losing months of progress and being taken back to level 1. So to answer all your questions, I've tried restarting the game all day, 10 times on all devices and Top That has NOT returned. Please fix this issue ASAP. This is totally unacceptable. King is all bugs and glitches since June. Thanks.
Hello there, i can understand your frustratation but this is what sometimes happened due to some internet stability issues. As you already have raised this issue i am sure the community manager will look into these matters and try to solve them to avoid any further caused in future.
I agree with you on that. At the moment I have no events except the daily/weekly ones. There have been a lot more glitches in the past few months and we cannot trust any event to remain in our games! When I last had Season Mastery several weeks ago I won every single event that awarded points but the event disappeared before any of us could get past the silver chest and it has not reappeared in my game. I really don't think the game is value for money (if you spend any) at the moment! That is why I would not recommend spending anything. Every time we near the end of Candy Royale we have to fear that the game will hang up on us and freeze! They need to sort all these problems out.
My top that was part of season mastery and now both are gone.

I had it yesterday from the beginning like every Monday, then this morning it disappeared from both my devices. And they say time zone issue. What possible time zone update is happening right now? Daylight savings isn't changing for a few months. So how can it be a time zone issue? Their excuses are ridiculous. I also had Monday milestones last night, and then 30 min later, it disappeared and Top That appeared. Monday Milestones stoll 5 plus hours on the clock. Lately the entire game is nothing but bugs and glitches and King could care less.

I don’t have Top that or season mastery. It’s unfortunate but I hope it appears soon in my game.
It's not so much an investment to win, but more for me. I really enjoy playing it every week, it's my favorite event aside from Candy Royal and it disappeared from both devices. And on my Android, it was part of the mastery season badge thing, so not only did I lose an entire day's worth of progress, but the mastery thing is gone too and I already got as far as the silver chest. This is pathetic. King has become completely full of bugs and glitches in the last few months and we all keep losing money and boosters and lots of time.
If they manage to get it back online this week, they need to extend it by at least 24 hours. This is pathetic.
Wow, really? I'm not sure why you call it an "investment", as you get nothing back by wasting this amount of money on Candy Crush Saga. As you would have to play through hundreds of levels (about a 1000 levels?) to reach the 250 gold I don't really think you have lost anything by the disappearance of the event. If you can play that fast you'll get as many gold bars just through the champions race. Top That is the worst event I have seen in Candy Crush for a long time, so in my humble opinion "good riddance", but if you think you might get a refund then try contacting Player Support.

I had event with blue candies, to win 250 gold at the end. And it disappeared simply. It was to last 4 days.
I noticed that in my game also. Hopefully it comes back.

Did you see the event today in your game? Did it disappear when you close the game and return to it?
Did you try playing a new level and win it for the “Too That” event to be triggered? If not, can you please try that and see? Please make sure that your level has Blue candies 😉

Thank you for replying! I did see the event today and it disappeared after I returned to the game. I won two levels which have blue candy as you suggested, but the “top that” event is still not showing up, what else can I do?

Today's was a new version of Top That! that contained Season Mastery points at each tier.
I'm guessing the Season Mastery incorporation made Top That! itself wonky. @QueenB Could you report this issue to the studio?
Season Mastery remained in my Events tab, but what's the use of it without Top That?
Hopefully once you win a level it will come back in your game but I just noticed it disappeared from my events as well and I now have Season Mastery. Have a great day 😊
My Top That disappeared as well, after I played three episodes. At the end of the third episode the game hung up just after I claimed the episode race. I had to close the game and reopen. When I did Top That was gone. But I have not seen any season mastery at all today, neither with or without the event. This is on my iPhone. Strange goings on.
It didn't come back. Season mastery is all that's left, but nothing isthere to win their tokens. I looked forward to Top That, it relieved the boredom of star tournament...same levels over and over.
