I really liked being able to earn gold bars, but that features seems to be gone now.
Hi everybody,
We have some good news on the issue with Episode Race disappearing from your games and or not receiving your Gold Bars.
The team is working on getting it back as soon as possible and there is a fix that will be roll out to Android soon so please keep an eye out for any updates. Next week, we will release the fix to the other platforms.
This means that if you currently have game app version 1.290.0.1, you won't see Episode Race until you upgrade to version 1.290.1.2 which will be out next week to all platforms.
(If you are playing on Facebook, there is nothing you need to do, it will get updated in automatically next week).

We are aware that some of you might have not received your Gold Bars winnings from the Episode Race and this is currently being investigated.
We are also aware that some of you also have lost the Race and this is also being looked at.

Hi @ALX22 @Wendys555 Welcome to the Community 🤗 Many have posted about the same problem. King have been told and hopefully they are looking into it. Hopefully it will be sorted soon but we won't know how soon. If you read other posts in Discussions and Support you will see how many others have reported it. We are all players like yourselfs in the Community and come here to discuss and help each other with our Candy Crush Saga games, so if you have any more questions or need help with your game please ask and someone will try and help. Would also be nice if you stay in the Community and join in other discussions, it's always nice to hear how others are getting on. You may also be able to answer other players questions. Why is the episode race no longer available?

Hi. Anybody know how to solve this problem? My new episode races. Are gone, I can continue playing, but there are no wins when I'm passing through a new level, and no flags either..it's been so for the last 4 days..... this sucks hard because I'm having a good streak to these days but there are no wins for me, no goldbars, nothing!
I feel like I'm being scammed because I also bought in their store right before this happened.
I feel candy crush owns me a lot of gold bars but if I know them correctly there is nothing they will compensate....
I have re installed the app, logged in and out, restartet the phone a bunch of times but nothing helps.
Hope someone have a suggestion to how to solve this.

I've won the last 3 episodes, but got no gold bars. Also, icons (the ones that should be at the top left of the screen) stopped appearing on the screen several episodes ago.
I was 1st in the race, should have won 40 bars but got nothing.
Me too! The race just disappeared! I need the gold bars too!
I don't have episode race I see many people too
But how will I know it's been fixed and in which level should I stop and wait?

@PummyRaj maybe since a few more people are just now missing the race y'all can fix mine when their's are fixed. At least they were getting it when I wasn't. I will not get my hopes up tho since I have been complaining for a while. Oh well maybe I can only hope as usual.
Try playing an old level that you have already won. Sometimes that will trigger the events.

Not having the Episode Race and the "red curtain" in the Events folder are two different issues!
For missing events, please do follow the tip posted by my friend @Peaches12. And for the Episode Race - can you tell me which device you are using?
I have the same problem many others have reported — Playing on Windows PC via Facebook and races are completely gone. I stopped playing for now, hoping, really hoping the developers fix this glitch.
The biggest problem with this game though is boosters are not transferable. My PC is getting old and when I pick up Candy Crush on my new device — all boosters and lives will be gone. This is truely awful, especially for boosters. There should be a way to transfer boosters ! As everyone have to change devices at some point, this is a problem that affects every single player !!

Hello, I had this problem today. This problem only exists on the computer. There is no problem with the phone. I think King will fix this problem

Just making sure we are referencing the same thing : Episode Races are gone (not weekly races). The episode races awarding Gold Bars when you are first to complete an episode. This completely disappeared for everyone playing on Windows PC + Facebook, as far as I know.
Can anybody help me with this question? Why did my episode race disappear in my game?
I do not have an earlier screenshot, because I did not think that the race would disappear halfway through my game. At 7514 it was in the corner I was coming first than by 7515 it was gone. I finished the race, don't know if I won or not but I got no reward. When I started a new game today no episode race. There is not much point in playing if I cannot get some gold to help me through the levels? So, I was wondering do the episode races stop appearing at this stage of the game?
I suppose this happens to all Facebook users.

Oh sorry, looks like you are playing on the Windows app. I have it on my Windows app but not the Facebook app on a browser.
Did you login with Facebook account or King account?
I log in through King account, I don't have facebook. I am still getting all the other side games just not the episode race and I can still buy the extra moves so I must have an internet connection. 😀
This has happened to me once or twice but it did always reappear eventually @T0rr1e , after a few days or with the next episode. Have you played more than one episode since it disappeared? I would suggest you don't play until you see the flag again as you won' t make any gold, so what's the point of playing. Make sure your game is updated and that your device is updated. If it does not fix itself within a week then I would suggest you contact Player Support about it. Every player should get the episode race, right up to levels beyond 17,500.
Since the update on 28th Oct, the Finish Line to each round has disappeared giving no opportunity to win extra gold bars.Is this deliberate or an error please?
I have it on my Windows app and phone app but not the Facebook app. I was playing halfway on the Facebook app and realized that the episode race was missing last week. I switched to the Windows app and also phone app and found that the race was on. I can can see the race progress even though I did not played on those apps.
Hello @KeepTrying several people have posted to say that their Episode Race has disappeared, so it is looking like either King has a problem or they are deliberately removing it from some players.
Keep an eye on this forum to see if there is an official thread started about the issue.
What happened to the episode race? Are they no longer awarding it?
Hi, I have purchased rewards. Ever since you stopped me to get free rewards by watching adds. That is not fair. instead of supporting customer to to buy rewords you stop them to use free rewards by watching adds. If I don’t get the free rewords I will stop plying and remove the app. Thanks
